I still love Monsters Inc. as kid and I still love it as adult, I maybe old but I'm still a child at heart. Boo is so adorable and precious, Sulley and Mike were colorful and fantastic too. Mike Wazowski! ^-^

I absolutely loved Sully!! He started out as a determined and devoted to his job monster and as the movie played out he grew and his vision to what was bad and what was good expanded!!! I really love it when on screen characters grow with their audiences!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I legit remember seeing this in theaters. I was seven years old when it came out and when I went to see it with my mother and five-year-old brother. My brother even told my mother after the show that he wanted a little sister just like Boo. My mother, at the time, was newly married to my stepfather, and he'd made it abundantly clear that he didn't want more kids, as there were four of us running around (he had two from his previous marriage) and my mother explained to my brother that the family was done having kids. This man walking behind us with his little daughter called ahead to us, "I hear you!" So nice when you have fond memories associated with a film from your childhood...
#48: that concept eventually made into Monsters University. Where squishy got to be that idea

The thumbnail is the funniest one yet.
What I've always liked about Mike is that when he sees the Monster's Inc. commercial, the magazine, and his college ID, he never looks on the downside saying that he was blocked or not in the picture, but he looks on the positive side and is exited that he was in the commercial, on the magazine, and was a college student.
Both Monsters Inc. and M.U. were amazing. M.U. spoke with me the most, as I was still in college, and related more with Mike.

Reason 36 actually reminds me of the first time I saw one of the first trailers for Monster's Inc.
As a kid, my family and I were waiting for the release and anticipating the movie because of the narrator's one line from the trailer.
"It's not because it's personal, they're doing it because it's their job."
And then the title Monsters Incorporated actually made my family intrigued but we had a lot of laughs. And when we saw it in theaters, we absolutely loved it.

In the clip of Pete Docter here: 0:41 I was literally in this building watching him give a speech about his career, and lots about the new movie Inside Out. I believe it was at some church in Minneapolis, MN. In high school my dad was friends with him, too. I just thought that was pretty interesting

Fact #108: Sully is named after Lawrence Sullivan Ross, who was a former president of Texas A&M University and former governor of Texas. Many of the animators that worked on Monsters Inc went to A&M, hence the name

If they were to create another M.I film, I think it’d be interesting to see new characters, new story but in the same world. Maybe get an insight on some other jobs monsters have. Doesn’t have to be feature length, short films are often the best for exploration and world building (and comedy)

This is tied with Coco as my favorite Pixar movie. Monsters, Inc. was the first one that touched me and Coco was the one that touched me the most. I will always prefer movies like this over ones like Field of Dreams or Dead Poets Society

That's so funny that Boo's name was going to be Mary. Boo and Mary were the names of two of my very favorite stuffed animals when I was a baby. LOL
I LOVE THIS MOVIE !
16 years, seven months, and one day in the past. It is hard to believe, I'd saw this when I was going on five 1/2 years old. I can still remember going with my mother and her friend's family, Steven Orville, who had an indoor pool/hot tub, and my first nightmare with Sully, Randall, and the CPA of teraphobia. Monster's I, they would play for at school in October 2002 during grade one. I was always afraid at that one part, with the CPA come down, for the first time, George Anderson has a sock on his back. They sterolize it in an explosive pod, after twizzering it off, and then shower shave, and put on/rip off the band-aid. Placing a cone on top of him. I was afraid of the part where Sully roars, at the simulator boy, and Boo's standing next to him with Waternoose The third(the main antagonist). November 02nd 2001. Everyone wanted to see the new Star Wars movie trailer, which was equivalated to a teaser. The second movie to feature The Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone's trailer and The Wildthorn Berries Movie teaser Trailer. Scooby Doo 2 movie trailer. The Finding Nemo teaser. Master of Disguise's trailer.
