Most people have heard of FreeCodeCamp, but they probably don't know how it came to be. This is the story of Quincy Larson and how he came to build the biggest learning resource for code online. Big thank you to Quincy for taking the time for this interview and for letting me tell his story!

Thanks for making this video, Tadas. I had no idea the simple 1-hour interview you did would become such a thoughtfully-edited documentary. When I went to a state university in Oklahoma, my tuition and fees were only about $4,000 per year. This wasn't in the 1970s. This was in the year 2000. Costs have exploded since then. University can be affordable, and it should be affordable. We're going to do everything we can to make it affordable again.

Freecodecamp to the moon! So many ppl with traditional mindsets get very skeptical when I tell them about a "free" way to learn to code. But it is awesome to see so many success stories from freecodecamp 🙌🙌 good job putting the story together tadas 🤙

Wow I didn’t know the next goal for FCC was this huge. I love the idea and they definitely should try to change how education is currently and I wish them the success to hopefully implement a fully BS in CS in FCC

Btw I started my Software Engineering journey 4 months ago with the goal of becoming a Full-stack Flutter developer. Your channel is one of my mentor. Would you help me fix this Unhandled Exception: Null check operator used on a null value. This was after I have completed Firebase integration. I am signing up a new user in my App but Not able to see user credentials in Firebase
