Bodyboarding Small Waves

  • Sometimes when bodyboarding, the waves aren't always as big as we'd like them to be, but we still need our fix and get out there amongst the small waves anyway. This can sometimes be a challenge, as it's not as easy to get your board going, which in turn can be frustrating. Bodyboard Holidays' boss, Rob Barber, shares his top tips when taking on smaller waves and how to get the most out of your session.

    Great tip on getting bigger board on smaller waves. Didn’t think of that. All I have are 42.5 boards but combination of bay tail and crescent tails

    Hi!
    Great video!
    Prefiero estar al límite con la flotabilidad, pero gano con la maniobrilidad .
    Cheers from Buenos Aires Argentina 🤙

    Question: how do I body bord all day without getting muscle cramps?

    • @bodyboard_holidays
      @bodyboard_holidays  Před měsícem

      Good question! Keep hydrated, eat healthy and the final piece of the puzzle is to stretch. Get in the habit of doing these 3 things and you'll be able to surf all day!

    Interesting! More volume equals more bouyancy. This means more speed! Genius.

    Do fins help catching a wave or just help getting you out the back?

    • @bodyboard_holidays
      @bodyboard_holidays  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Fins help you both paddle out and catch waves. They also help once riding the waves as an extension of your boards rail. Check out this video which tells you everything you need to know about swim fins.... czcams.com/video/NkhV0sq0Z8w/video.html
