After riding a wave what do you do to not get stuck back on the shore and have to go all the way in the water again ? Do i have to take waves further ?
Hi, I just bought a bodyboard at my local surf shop, from Plymouth,as a beginner I asked for recommendation. I'm 5ft,54kg, with slightly shorter legs. The guy gave me 42' as it will be enough for me. Iv been reading about sizing when I got home. I think the board is too big for me 😔 what do you think the perfect size for me please?
If you're starting out you may find the extra volume beneficial but with those measurements you have mentioned, we'd put you on something around the 40.5" to 41" range. Hope this helps!

Great video. Love the dropknee ones. Grabbing on slower moving, less critical waves? It certainly seems to make sense, especially if it means you can put in a turn, where you otherwise might not be able to.

Question: everytime i try to paddle with both arms my board wants 2 fly out from under me, forcing me 2 use one hand and readjust myself. Because of this i miss the wave. Is this due to my shitty eps board? Or is this normal and i have 2 learn how to balance.
Practice makes perfect. Maybe a small amount of wax on the deck of the board will help you until you've got the double arm paddle nailed. Only a very small amount though, you want to be able to move around the board when riding the waves. Let us know how you get on! 🙌
