Good stuff! Yeah, the HV boards I have feel and perform exactly like my old boards did back in the 80's & 90's when I was 185 lbs dripping wet.
Right on!
Interesting points from Jay! He knows 👏🏼
Most definitely!

If I wanted to get one from you guys at 6'2 240 lbs what do you suggest. As far as location I would be at the beaches in San Diego a majority of the time.? Thanks for the cool videos
Hey, you'd be looking at something in the 44" size range. Give Jay and the team at ebodyboarding.com a shout and they will be able to help you with a higher volume board.
Ima short kid 4’10 at 104 pounds (im 13) like in the middle what size would you recommend
You'd be looking at something around a 40" board
At 6’3’’ and 13 stone before hooded 654 hooded wetsuit gloves, socks and swim fins I ride a 45’ maxim. Born in 83 😅
Thanks for sharing that. 🙌
That really helps. I’m that guy (fat dad ) need a bit more volume in my board 🤙🏼
Glad you liked the video 🤙🏻
Hi, I just bought a bodyboard at my local surf shop, from Plymouth,as a beginner I asked for recommendation. I'm 5ft,54kg, with slightly shorter legs. The guy gave me 42' as it will be enough for me.
Iv been reading about sizing when I got home. I think the board is too big for me 😔 what do you think the perfect size for me please?
If you're starting out you may find the extra volume beneficial but with those measurements you have mentioned, we'd put you on something around the 40.5" to 41" range. Hope this helps!
Hi im thinking about getting back to bodyboarding. Im 5’7 180lbs what would u suggest for size
Hey we'd point you towards a 42" board with those measurements
Whats the cons if you end up getting a bigger board.
I wanted my son to get into bodyboarding also. Do they sell kids size fin he wears size 13 almost 1?
Sure, where about are you based? We can help point you in the right direction then.
