Considering that a person's face IS literally their whole identity, which is absolutely unique (as opposed to their body, which can have any number of "twins" out there in the world), I'd say this is a very good indicator of a man's level of interest in a woman. If he mostly gushes over her body (which is not as personal and unique as her face is), his interest in the woman is most likely only sexual, in other words superficial. This video touches on that as well ("long-term" vs "short-term" dating). Ladies, pay attention to these subtle signs.

Clothing definitely influences attraction. Back when women had to wear lots of layers in the 20th and before centuries, the men were attracted to the face due to only seeing the face first and foremost a majority of the time. Now that those layers have disappeared, the body has taken the forefront in terms of attraction for both men and women, I reckon.

Clothes and current styles have a huge impact on attraction for sure! And yeah when a woman’s whole body was covered in many layers, attraction had to be based entirely on a woman’s face until she got married. But I actually think men from that time, or even just from older generations who are still living, are going to be much more “enticed” (for lack of a better word) by seeing more of a woman’s body exposed than young guys now. A 20-year-old guy can walk on campus and see plenty of mini skirts, crop tops, strapless dresses, etc and get on his phone or go out for at night and see backs out, cleavage, etc. And he would be completely unfazed, unless it’s a woman he’s already attracted to. But a man from a generation where women had to wear dresses that covered their feet, could be enticed by an exposed ankle 😂 It’s all very interesting to me how much what we are used to seeing impacts how sexual a piece of clothing seems to us.

Perceived safety also influences how attractive a man is to women. Men's vision of the ideal male is generally uber masculine with super big muscles and almost no softness. However, women generally do not prefer that uber masculine image. Women like a little softness with the masculinity (ie someone whom you would feel comfortable asking to walk you home).
That might be why there is little difference between women's preferences for short term and long term coupling. Perceived safety would influence prefences in long term and short term coupling.

Men only commented that they liked a curvy thick chick but my face was everything to them. Having a banging body only enhances my looks and makes me a 10, hence why I lost the weight again.

What you're about to read applies universally for men but may or may not apply for women to the same extent as men. One thing that's worth noting is the natural conclusion of "face and body being independent and face being more important in terms of attraction". However, in my own experience and many experiences of other men, your face tends to look as good as your body. For me, I look handsome and get regular compliments for my face when I'm at 12-15% body fat (while being muscular) obviously because at this body fat, my face looks more angular and lean (more sexual dimorphism) and my existing strong features (in my case, my eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes) get a better canvas to showcase themselves. When I was 20% bodyfat I never got compliments for my face. So I happen to be a person whose face can look handsome only if my body looks good. So yeah both aren't independent. In reality getting ripped and muscular will actually make your face look much better as well, that too by a huge margin. Hence in my case, both are equally important.

The only caveat - if pearl shaped girls don’t workout, they might look like a whale sooner or later (no offence to anyone, it’s just how it goes).
      So the perfect figure is:
If they workout for many years and have lots of muscle mass in buttocks, hamstrings and even some in quads, + have thigh gap, wide hips (perfectly with 0% hip dips but if they are small it’s not as bad) and small waist and great round butt from the profile and front/back.
So, if you have a "white guys don’t like your body shape" problem, maybe there’s more to it.
I would encourage you…. It might be much worse. If you start working out, you might be a real catch!
Think. You could have wide shoulders, wide rib cage, big arms and big shoulders (due to bone structure, fat accumulation there and muscle insertion - meaning biceps, triceps attach high and arms look fat around shoulders) big waist (due to big rib cage), long torso, short legs, narrow hips, small butt, thick thighs that go a little inside (X type).
Believe me. I know/see plenty of such women… there’s not much they can do. Even such fitness trainers who are in phenomenal shape, don’t have "curvy or feminine body".

Hard one. A very beautiful and/or handsome face can be extremely mesmerizing, but a great body is an instant eye-catcher. Especially when paired with good posture and a confident walk. I cant decide.

If your a man the body is more arousing while the face is more attracting. When women are aroused or ovulating or looking for sex their preferences would look like men in the study. Men are practically always horny hence the study shows a discrepancy making it seem as though only men differentiate between the two. Any man who is jacked knows the body is far more sexually attractive to women while the face tends to be relationally attractive. Men who are jacked tend to experience a woman's lust and aggression in a way most men dont. Most men have never been jacked and I dont mean roided out like a probodybuilder but it becomes clear a face makes women want to come and talk to you the body can make them want to come up and do other things..

When it comes to sexual attraction... arousal... body is king, When women PAY for seggs or say exotic dancers you will find they are looking primarily for good bodies. You can have a relatively bad face and be successful as a exotic dancer but not so much a sloppy bad body.
When you have just the face yes women give you a kind of attention, but when you have the body they will literally give you SEXUAL attention specifically. You dont know it until youre him, its like a secret underworld to the normal guy. Women will worship a mans body if its on point during seggs in a way that you wont experience with just a pretty face. Now maybe youre well endowed with a pretty face and it may give you the experience somewhat as thatis a part of the body but its a truth many men will never know smh. Womoen LUST for a mans BODY.
It speaks power in a primal way to them, of course body language and how you carry yourself all plays a role but it starts with the body. Take a pretty boy and get him in the best shape of his life and he will notice the type of attention he gets will change.
