The results don't really surprise me. I think you are spot on with the pump allowing the bruise to happen faster, but the damage should remain the same since that is determined by the weapon type, the area struck, and the force applied. Once the appropriate amount of blood is in the area of the body that was struck, no more is needed, so I did expect the bruise to remain about the same, dependent only on the force applied.
i was thinking that it was going to help start healing faster since there's already some blood there from the pump
@@pienad0-.-154 Maybe? That's an interesting idea. But again, I think healing time is related more to muscle repair and tissue damage repair, which has kind of a set healing time.
It's a really interesting experiment they did for sure!
