- I took on one of the most difficult, time consuming, egg-filled challenges imaginable in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I found Quaxly, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito… SHINY. Oh yeah, and I did it the hardest way possible. While I could have used the Masuda Method to change the shiny odds, I decided to be stupid and hunt them all FULL ODDS. Why??? Well, because I wanted the challenge!! (and I’m really dumb) So here are all the new shiny starters from this generation, plus some extra shinies too! I hope you enjoy.

I was shocked when I hatched my shiny Hisuian Zorua.. it only took 8 eggs. Its literally never happened to me that quickly 😂

Been wanting to masuda hunt fuecoco for a while now, this was the inspiration I needed! Mad respect to you man, egg hunting is my least favorite shiny hunting method and to do it full odds is absolutely insane

I can feel the pain man, I was shiny hunting for a female shiny sprigatito and it took me a few months and 9 shiny male sprigatito until I get a female one on my 10th shiny. Definitely one of most difficult thing I've ever accomplished in my life.
How much eggs did you hatch? I'm on my way to get mine, I've hatched over 700 eggs and didn't get a single shiny.
I had 6 shiny male sprigatitto. Still hunting for shiny female😢

The Shiny Grass Cat was actually the one I hunted for cause I absolutely wanted it... I don't remember what Batch _SHE_ Appeared in, but I hatched Ten Eggs and She arrived
She's now A Meowscarada and her name is Asmodia
Congratulations . Female starters are rare. But shiny AND female??? That's on a whole other level.

I got myself a fuecoco in literally 7 eggs just to flex granted was masuda breeding but still was literally blown away when he shone for me just wish I was able to play the whole came with him

This was the first game where I actively hunted the starters because egg hunting is fun in this game because you can find random Shinies

My very first wild encounter shiny was in Violet (only took me 9 gens to get a wild shiny)
It is a Lycanrock Midnight form (the emo looking Lycanrock)
I Masuda hunted a shiny Mareanie named Riley, she’s now a Toxapex and I like her very much

I’ve been shiny hunting the starters every now and then. so far I have a fuecoco and that took me about 620 eggs.
The closest thing we have to Dog starters are Fennekin and Eevee.

I already got the Shiny Paldean starters. I hatched 2 of them in my Pokemon Scarlet, Sprigatito and Quaxly and hatched the other one in my Pokemon Violet.

I’ve had scarlet since December and only have three shinies, only one of which was a random full odds encounter the other two I actually hunted for. It’s really just luck of the role

I've always had trouble keeping with breeding ling enough to find a shiny. My first real attempt was in Pokemon y but after probably like 1000 eggs or so I found a wild shiny eevee thus just gave up on hatching. My first successful shiny hatching was literally just yesturday when I first finished Violet I decided to try and hatch shiny eevee I got to about 200 eggs then just gave up. Then I was watching a 24 hour shiny stream and decided to hatch eggs and overworked shiny hunt thus time I targetted the two starters fuecoco and sprigatitio. At first I was solely doing Sprig but then warned some variety so breed both at the same time and after just under 15 eggs I got shiny fuecoco. I'm still a bit shocked it took so little time.

I don’t understand how you have the motivation to spend so much time hatching eggs. I’m shiny hunting for a Charizard and a Dragapult in Pokémon Sword, and I’m doing the Masuda method with the shiny charm, but I always give up after only 100 or less.

Got a shiny Hoppip today using the Masuda Method in under 20 eggs (he hatched on the 16th egg)! I watched part of this video while hunting.
Yoooo thats the same time it takes for me to not even get a shiny scorbunny with masuada method
Btw currently 2500 scorbunny along with a 1500 side hunt litten plus a few other hjnts that total 200 eggs all masuad shiny charm btw

I spent 6 months in pokemon moon for a shiny bounsweet to hatch. never did 😭

Have a different Pokemon in the front of your party, then switch out to your shiny!

does being a shiny give it a legendary status or a unique ability do they take less damage do they avoid battle stat effects paralyze poison frozen sleep burn do they keep standing after perish song runs out are they immune to ghost types using curse do they dodge stealth rock and spikes are they weather proof are the 1 hit ko proof do there 1 hit ko moves have 100% accuracy if the shiny is legendary do they become beyond op can they attack the very next turn after using moves that would make you wait a turn are they immune to love and confusion do they obey no matter the badge count do they say there own name in the game are they so strong there levels don't matter do they level up faster do they increase what you earn after battle do they deal more damage are they god mode for the game
