I FOUND EVERY SHINY TITAN POKEMON (sort of) in Pokemon Scarlet

- I think we can all agree that Titan Pokemon are INSANELY cool! The one thing that IS SUPER NOT COOL about them, is that they are sadly… shiny locked.. (well kinda, as there is a silly bug where they can appear shiny in the pokedex, but I'm not counting that, because you still can't catch it!) Yes.. they are coded to NEVER appear Shiny.. While we can’t hunt down the actual Titans, we CAN search for the regular versions of them. So that’s exactly what I did! Here is my quest to find every Shiny Titan Pokemon (sort of). All Shiny Pokemon were found at FULL ODDS (1/4096)!

I definitely don't recommend this, but having a Pokémon with the Jumbo Mark makes it the same size as a Titan Pokémon after you've defeated it. It's stupidly rare to find a Pokémon that large, however.
youd need to get a humungo power sandwhich to make it worth trying which screws over encounter power. still 1/64 odds after the shiny rolls. Probably possible with luck and outbreaks.
Honestly I wanna try this cause getting regular shinies is too easy now, I’m gonna try for all the titans 😆
Seeing you catch a shiny Orthworm reminded me of the one I caught. I wasn't even hunting and he caught me by surprise. I caught him and named him "Blu" (because I couldn't think of anything else)
Turns out, Blu is VERY sleepy. He sleeps every time I bring him out in a picnic. Like... at every opportunity he can get.
I'm actually pretty sure I got that glitch where the titan appears shiny in the dex since the only shiny I had registered before I started shiny hunting was a shiny bombirdier that I'd apparently encountered, but have zero memory of ever seeing. I'm pretty sure I'd only fought like two bombirdier at that point.

If you go for all of them with the jumbo mark, then they’re guaranteed to be the same size as the titans. But I understand not doing it because of how annoying it would be to hunt all of them jumbo and shiny.

Shiny jumbo is the same as shiny titan. They are 1/120000 though. So good luck. I did it so it is definitely possible

Orthworm has to be ome of the more frustrating hunts because of its hit box. Very oof
If you don't get a crit capture on a pokemon you've already caught, it's guaranteed not to catch, and if you do, it's a guaranteed catch.

Um, actually, you can shiny hunt the titans. As AbsolBlogsPokemon explained in his recent Badge Quest movie, and as found by Anubis on twitter, the titans, as well as Arven's pokemon, actually have two versions rolled - the battle version and the display version. The display version can't be rolled as shiny - it's shiny locked - but the battle version can be shiny. That's where Arven's pokemon and the titans differ. A shiny battle version of Arven's pokemon will take over the display version and show up as shiny in the battle, but the shiny battle titan won't overrule the display shiny-locked one. However, you can still see if the battle titan was rolled as shiny by going in the pokedex after the titan encounter ends and seeing if you got the shiny version registered, which you actually can't do for Arven's pokemon, even if they're shiny. This means a reset to check a titan's shininess includes the 2nd phase, the cave cutscene and the Professor phone call (outside of Bombirdier where you can't save between the phases so you have to do both).

Okay cool, now do it again for all of them to have the jumbo mark as the titans can all get it because they're max size, that way you can actually say you caught the shiny titans.

That altaria gives me bad memories LOL. My second ever full odds shiny was an altaria (this was before i knew turning off autosave was a thing), and the altaria used perish song and died and ofc autosaved afterwards 😭 thats my only whiny fail ever
