- Nikotimer Driving Container to port POV rainy day video Trucking job Europe Netherlands This video is about me working one day and showing you one of my trips to the container terminal. In the process of driving, it rains from the road, the sky is reflected, which blinds with its light and I have to use the sun protective glasses with polarizing lenses. This is a short route from the client to the port and back. I go so one week a month and it allows me to take a break from long trips around Europe. Sometimes I like to go long and far away and sometimes I like to drive close to the base and go back to sleep home every day. Such work allows you to get rid of fatigue from monotonous work but does not give stress effect from daily new unloading places in different countries!

If this was ETS2, as the player was pulling out on the road at the beginning after checking both sides multiple times, a car would have myteriously spawned off-screen very close on left hand side much to the player's annoyance.

I met a guy from Switzerland where I live. He has 10'000 hours of Euro truck game. Average pay in switzerland is around 42 Euros per hour for truck driver. "according google" Basically he could earn 420'000 Euros! Let it sink in.

i love the little hand signs and tapping and stuff, along with the fact that the camera isn't placed still somewhere but attached to your head, gives the video so much more personality and makes it fun to watch

I agree with you, it’s very nice when you have a lot of space in the cabin for your comfort. When I started my career, trucks were small inside and with my height I couldn’t fit on the bed when I needed to sleep! Now I have a reserve of 20 centimeters. Even better are American trucks! They're basically the size of an apartment!☺

I love to drive and thinking about learning to drive trucks so i can also work with it. Reversing with a big trailer looks scary though even if you learn how to do it. Thanks for the video and nice driving!

Driving with a large trailer in the opposite direction is difficult and scary the first three times, then you get used to the size and it’s no longer so scary. So don't be afraid of anything. I sometimes catch the moment of turning on the traffic light along the way of which I often drive. Sometimes it turns out interesting. In the Netherlands, in front of each traffic light inside the asphalt there is a sensor that feels like a car is driving and adjusts the traffic light itself! Say, how're camera based rear-view mirrors IRL? I love to use them in ETS2 as they give me a better view, but how do they hold up IRL to actual mirrors?

Интересное видео, но от мотания камеры из стороны в сторону водителем, начинает рябить в глазах. Камеру надо было как-то стационарно установить, некомфортно смотреть видео.

Не тяжело такие поездки переносить?
Если кататься по одному маршруту, как трамвайчик-становится нудно и уже не нравится! А вот другое дело если неделю туда сюда по 40 км а потом неделю по 1300 км туда сюда, уже совсем другое дело! И хорошо если это знакомый маршрут где рассчитано все до минуты и знаешь где и как будешь отдыхать!

I have a few questions!
1. In which situations would you use the retarder, and in which situations would you use the brakes?
2. Do you often have visibility issues with the cameras when they get wet and such?
I use the retarder on dry roads when the truck has a loaded trailer. In winter and in slippery weather it is dangerous to use a retarder, so I just brake at intervals so as not to overheat the brake discs. Cameras rarely have interference, but sometimes it happens that water gets on the lens and the picture is blurred. But this can be easily fixed with one finger
I find it funny that while watching this, my hands instinctively move the mouse to look around as if I were still playing the game. i didn't know muscle memory was a thing for chill simulation games also 😅

Hello! Thank you for your kind words and support for me! Mirrors show a comfortable picture and do not strain the eyes. I think that the frame rate of these cameras is above 60 fps. At night, these cameras increase light sensitivity like DSLR cameras and see very clearly. The dimmer system works or reduces the brightness of monitors when it is dark around. Monitors adapt to the strong light around them during the day and glow brightly! Very convenient and safe for the driver's eyes!☺👍👍👍

I would love to have a DAF in the states but to bring one over here would be Expensive! Plus I don't think they would allow it with the rules and junk.
Hi! Thank you for your comment! I think that compared to the next generation American trucks, the DAF will be very small inside and weak in motor strength. Also, if I wanted to bring an American truck to Europe, I could only carry short trailers, because everything in Europe is made up to a maximum of 16 meters of truck along with the trailer.🤗
@@nikotimer Wow that is small. Yeah American trucks are chunky boys and would not have enough room on those streets. It is not really about the power but more the way the Europe trucks are set up. Just a smarter design with its safety and features. Anyways happy trails and safe travels. 😀

How can I go to the Work Truck driving?
You need to find a transport company that will hire you and that’s it! To do this, you need to have documents and permits to work on such a truck, and if you are interested in working in Europe, a permit for legal stay and employment in Europe.
