You need a medal as big as a frying pan pulling that through London
Thanks for watching Eddie.
if it broke down in london. The only way youre going to get it out is through london. Aint no RAF recovery service sending out a chinook to lift this thing.
Try multi drop in a Class 1 Arctic in Central London , you'll shit yerself lol 🤣🤣🤣
Nothing better than seeing a quality workman doing a professional job, really enjoyed your video
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
When is this game released
💀
Given that ultra realism in the form of Unreal Engine 5 already exists today, I’d say give or take ten more years for such games to become mainstream.
😂😂😂😂😂 Dying
I love seeing the interior driving, It just makes It more realistic! Glad To See You Helping Companies Out!
Thanks for watching.
Good job boyy...
Real life is already as realistic as things can get but ok
Hydraulics really are amazing. The amount of force required to lift that bus with a bar sticking out 25 feet off the back of a wrecker...
Hi Glen thanks for watching , Boniface under lift has 33 tonne capacity plenty of power as you not lifting all of vehicle.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve and do you not find that amazing???
Never ceases to amaze me, how many people will cut a driver up with that kind of load on. First time watching & subscribed 👍
Thanks very much for watching and subscribing John.
Same here, first time watching your videos and I've subscribed
Love the interior view aswell
+1. I always hang back for lorries etc. used to tow big stuff myself not on this scale though but always being squeezed by idiots
A whole hour long? what a great way to start a saturday evening! Thanks steve.
Thanks very much for watching , your welcome.
You have the patience of a saint Steve, I would have been in use of the bleep machine well and truly. Nice driving mate.
Thanks very much for watching Paul . Cheers.
I love the dedicated storage to put the half shaft in. You can tell this towing rig has been designed by those with years of experience. Great content
Thanks for watching .
Thanks so much! This is why YT is great, never ever would I have noticed this kind of work.
You're very welcome!
Threading that through London is not easy but you made it look easy. Great job!!
Thanks for watching Paul, Cheers,
Excellent driving and patience. Wouldn’t like to drive a car throw London, never mind and truck towing a bus!! Great work
Hi Gary thanks very much for watching.
I enjoyed riding along with you on this one - nice and steady = no stress or trauma - I used to drive regularly in London in a car on business and learnt that if I drive 3 mph slower than everyone else I get the time to pick my lane and didn't need to compete for space - that was in the late 80's up to the early 2000's mind you and a lot has changed for the worse in terms of road layouts and junctions since then such that its open warfare now
Thanks for watching Steve , glad you liked it.
Saturday morning and this better than anything on the telly. Fascinating as ever, thanks Steve
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching Steve.
New subscriber to your channel. I am a retired disabled garbageman living in Northern California. Love your videos have a lot to catch up on. Thank you for your hard work. Awesome channel.💯🙏🇺🇸🦺
Hi Thomas thanks for watching and welcome to the channel.
Love these videos. Coming from the US its like a portal to another world, what seems boring to you sitting a stop light is fascinating to me seeing unfamiliar shops and blokes walking shirtless when its 14 degrees. Thank you for all the videos
edit: 20mph limit throughout London is insane, i think it would drive me mad
Thanks very much for watching them , i am glad you like them.
20 mph is really annoying, especially on main roads. Most people still do between 25 and 30 mph though.
@@DaChaGee It's really annoying. I'm American/English, I had a car for the longest time, but got rid of it with the ULEZ expansion. I cannot deal going 50 mph or lower on the motorway. It's like nails on a chalkboard for my half-American brain. Around my home in the US I don't have to worry about speed limits. I can go as fast as I please in some areas. Speed limit is 65-70 and traffic flows at over 90. In the middle of nowhere in the desert I set my cruise on max at 110. The one time I did get a ticket for 98 in a 65 and it was a $500 fine with no points or driving ban.
Driving a bus around central London would be a challenge. Recovering and then towing one is next level. To then add commentary and pictures...well. I just take my hat off to you - to do all of that in such a calm, methodical and stress free manner is hugely impressive. Thank you! (p.s. is there a chip in your windscreen?)
Thanks for watching , glad you liked it , picked up another chip yesterday that makes 2 lol.
30:05 yes, we do always appreciate and respect our local recovery company. When you're up to your neck in problems, you've got a big piece of metal blocking the road- you really appreciate these recovery wagons turning up.
BTW every Volvo bus and coach (or all that I've come across) have ferry lifts on them, which makes it so much easier to tow- you don't need to worry about tail strikes etc. But Volvo make them so that it can only work when the engine is running- turn it off and it drops back down. I must get the wiring diagrams from IMPACT and I'll bet that it's possible to bridge a relay to force the ferry lift to engage with the engine stopped.
Excellent work as ever, Steve.
Thanks for watching and commenting Derek.
Recovery and sightseeing all in one, thanks Steve!
Thanks for watching.
Really nice to see more of the actual driving/towing part. 👍
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Another great video Steve and talk about patience when negotiating other road users; how the traffic density (and lack of other's driving skills !) have changed since I drove there back in the 60s. Victoria coach station takes me back to more recent times when I used it twice a week regularly in my travels between London and Cornwall.
Hi David thanks for watching and sharing that.
Great skills and mechanical knowledge, a professional at work. I cannot imagine what it would be like doing this on a bad winters day, freezing rain battering down, somewhere exposed.
Thanks for watching , Highway Thru Hell worth watching to see how they deal with bad winter weather working in Canada.
First time here, watched two back to back while having a quiet period.
Enjoyed the journey bit in this one. Hopefully if the channel keeps growing you can have multiple gopros wiith all angles covered and maybe one or 2 cameras showing your drivers perspective when its the exciting bits.
Great work and hats off to you, I drove in london once and nothing anywhere near this size and it was a pain in the you know what with all the lunacy and ignorance of people.
Thanks for watching Anthony.
Always nice to get around with you on a sightseeing tour, the towing is just a plus!
😂👍👍👍
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Crasy how chaotic this traffic is compared to my little german town!!
Can't imagine doing this here.😅
Thanks for the Video Steve
Hi Paul thanks for watching.
Fascinating drive through the city Steve. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Alec and thanks for watching.
Hi Steve, interesting to see the area around Victoria that I was extremely familiar with, some twenty years ago. I worked on the design of the red routes and bus lanes; I was the only member of the team with an HGV licence.
Thanks for watching and sharing that.
Welcome back Steve, nice to see you again. Love what you do.
Thanks for watching Paul , much appreciated.
Well that was well worth the wait Steve. Thanks for the guided tour through those famous (or is it in-famous) streets. Last time I drove through there it was manic. That drive helps me understand how a simple cyclist can cause chaos for the big traffic. Looking forward to the next trip.
Hi John thanks very much for watching .
Some skill on display here again Steve.
Thanks very much for watching , much appreciated.
Thanks! Appreciate all that you do.
Hi Mathew your very welcome , thanks for supporting the channel.
Hearing you say Plaxton made me instantly think of the Panorama bodied Bedfords.
Nice to see you posting again. 🤘🤘
Thanks for watching Martin.
This is the new panorama. A doub!e deck coach. But I agree you couldn't best the old bedfords and Ford panoramas.
My wife and I travelled to London from the States back in November, and I'm pretty sure we saw you on the motorway while we were there. I had a good time with this video seeing several of the places we visited on that trip. Our hotel was on Bayswater Rd across from Hyde Park which you drove right by.
Thanks for watching , nice place to visit London , just not to drive in.
Seen your videos a few times in my recommended and this is the first time I’ve clicked, but if I’m honest I’ve been meaning to for ages. Really interesting video. Really good to see how much you care about safety, too.
Thanks for sharing, and I hope you have a good Easter. :)
Thanks for watching , Happy Easter.

Excellent work as always Steve - you have absolute balls of steel driving on those roads in such a large vehicle. It amazes me how other drivers seem hell bent on making the task even harder for you though 🤦♂️

Hi welcome from Hungary , thanks very much for watching.
Nice to see you are busy Steve.. 19th job this week!!! Good old central London is a challenge at the best of times , but with that length of vehicle you need a medal mate😂
Thanks for watching Gary , did manage to do 20 jobs that week mate , busy.
Just finished watching the video and it frustrates me how other drivers just can't read the situation In Front of them..
You were lucky by Lancaster Gate; there were roadworks there for a few days last week with a seriously tight chicane. Great video as always!
Thanks for watching , glad you liked it.
glad to see a new video steve keep up the good work. I did notice the stone chip in your windscreen tho lol.
Thanks for watching Paul , stone chip bloody annoying right in middle of screen.

in Rome, italy, bus lane could be used for emergency vehicle especially for big size towing one, like your. Much better give this chance into traffic jam like this and even worst. Nerves of steel man, great attitude and driving skill, congrats!

Hi Steve, watched half of your video but will watch the rest soon. Tired after major surgery today for a hip replacement. Long story but wasn't a planned one! Had an accident on Friday on an ice rink of all things. Keen to get back on my feet soon. Great job so far, thanks for sharing.
