great lookin piece of kit. good job man. might consider a secondary mount with a rubber strap to hold the shaft still under way, that thing looks like it will feel every wave as it stands, but man would it be nice to have this

Excessive silicone...all that is needed is a small amount around the screw holes. Curious why you would use a wood spade bit for this vs a proper hole saw.
What is the cost of the bracket assembly, and also cost of the whole set up including the Minn Kota motor and battery
