Gotta say, THANK YOU. Always wondered about a hybrid saw. Ie stihl/husquvarna crossbreed. You are doing what I love. Mix n match to see what works. You have crossed the threshold of hotrod to rat rod.
Harvey........ I've done some internet searching and I've not found this particular conglomeration. I love it. I think you've got this one figured out. I love hot rodding everything. Can't leave anything alone....... Like Tim the Tool Man Taylor.......more POWER!!!! You're awesome Harvey!!!
Harvey you have a very special mind. Your understanding how these saws breath is amazing . I say breath because you give them new life. They get to live a life they would have not otherwise had. You explain thinngs like a surgeon. I understand everything you say but i still dont think i will ever be able to pull it off. God bless you and anyone that can do it. I am really going to have to get one of your working man saws some day to feel what you build. Love what your doin. Love watchin you and your family no matter what your doing. Keep up the good work my man. Keep enjoying your days above the stumps .
Jonathan Harsch cuttin timber everyday that we can bout to get rained out ! Boy am I lovin that Ironhorse saw ..that thing seems like it just gets better!!!
@@yankdoodlediesel2574 ya I bet I'm going to build one just as soon as I can find a good parts saw we are fighting the rain to it's that time of year though
makes me want to go on the internet and buy a 7900 domar just so we can build one more of these things I'm like everybody else I can't wait to see this thing run especially if one of those one inch tubed Mufflers on it like the one that buckingstock
I love your ideas knowledge and skills. The only problem I have is following the projects if they were put into a series and you can watch a saw series it would be awesome
I know my 2150 j.r it's a 50cc and it's just like a husky and like a domar. wish you could build a beef one up for me mr. Harvey.. thanks for this video sir and I can't wait for after Thanksgiving to see this thing.. I think buckin is going to like that saw
Hello Harvey!. Does a 7900 & a 9010 have the same stroke?. Great job on the Dolmar there. I love the big saws! Shop looks great Harvey!.. I hope you & your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃🦃
I'd say your 60% there Harvey..you may need to hack a little of cylinder for top cover but no big deal...great to see throttle cable work...Walt has had good results running xt carbs a little sideways on 372 xp..what about choke lever? I bet you could open lower transfers on the OEM cylinder if you had no choice... Your going to start it....dolmer 7900 is also the Makita 7900? (it looks the same....)...
Can’t wait to see the Frankenstein saw run can’t wait to see the American dream saw when you have them finished great videos and interesting keep up the great job shop looking good have a good Thanksgiving
Can't wait till that saw fires up. Got a chance to pick up an old vintage Hoffco Super 480 with an AH-47 engine im pretty sure that a 77cc, think I should?
Harvey ... if the stock carb won’t flow enuff I might just know a guy with a lathe that can bore it out for ya 😉☘️ .... just thinking out loud here but taking off that much off the bottom of the cylinder may jeopardize the strength of the casting ( or maybe not only one way to find out )... maybe a “stroker” might do the trick eh ?
Hey Ironhorse! Did you get this project ready? In my thinkin it would have been probably easier to mill the crankcase instead of the cylinder. If you mill the crank case you would not need to put epoxy in there.... Just my thoughts. But is there enough material so you can mill the crankcase?
YOUR GONNA HAVE TO CALL HER FRANKENSTEIN SOUNDS LIKE A PRETTY COOL BUILD ,YOUR A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE IRONHORSE ,GOODLUCK I DONT DOUGHT YOU AT ALL TAKE CARE MY FRIEND
Your evil genius plan is coming together nicely my friend.i like the way you think.keep them gears grinding harv 👍

Hey Harvey your room is really looking nice, but I'm afraid once you get everything organized you're not going to be able to find anything.
holy cow that saw is going to be not saying till it run but dam i want one spread the word gents
I hope this works better than you hoped. don't know if you don't try
Hi Harvey just wondering why you couldn’t use the carb of the 066 magnum?
Frankinstein Saw. 👍
👍❤️🙏☮️✌️☀️
Good job but the saw design is nasty. The UV damage is also massive.
Doesn't Wiseco make a ccc piston for the sthil 66in a big no bore
Ccc has Wisconsin make them! And yes!
