Push a bit of vaseline in the top of your tube of silicon before you put the cap back on and your silicon wont set in the tube.

This stuff happend in the 80`s all over the globe i think, Norway "lost Jobu" sweeden lost jonsered think same happend in US and Canada. I live in Norway and a Jonsered is gold for ppl that use chainsaws :)

I haven't watched Buckin lately but last time I did ran the ripsaw 500i against a Husqvarna forget model but it was faster cutting with less cc. I was a Husqvarna guy went from a 372xp to a Stihl 462. Both great saws. I just liked the feel and lighter saw on my back. Looking forward to a Ripsaw build your talking about will you do Stihl and Husqvarna?

The counterweights on the crank won’t hold up to this. The piston weight and the counterweights on the crank are now greatly mismatched.

I grew up in Arkport, and we moved to NC in 2013. This type of destruction is unreal! The waterline in the garage just shows how devastating this flood really was. I don't believe Hurricane Agnes was this bad in 72. God bless you all as you continue to recover and clean up. I wish I was able to be up there and help. I will say, that it's so good to see everyone coming together as they always have.

In Vermont they, " the gov officials" will not discuss serious dredging of our rivers, which previous generations did ......we have stocked brown trout and leaches only, are rivers our so rock and silted in......years of the experts river mngmt , mis, come to fruition! Now they want to create " designated wetlands" and buy ppl out of there property. Disgusting, again.....Prayers!

I'm about 130 miles south of your area. The same rain band from Debby passed over between 6 AM and 12 PM. I measured 6.1 inches of rain in that 6 hour period. In my 49 years at my house, I have never seen it rain so hard. I live on the side of a hill so I only had to deal with a trickle of water that usually get into my basement in stormy or snow melt conditions. At Williamsport Airport they only measured 3.1 inches. I believe his band was 10 or 15 miles wide and maybe 50 miles long. If you were under it, you had problems. I went through the 1972 Agnes flood and it is still the most costly disaster to ever hit Pennsylvania. I was working at Lock Haven Airport at that time and thre was 12 feet of water in our hangars, and six inches of mud. Oh, and one copperhead snake.

My heart goes out to everyone that was in this devastation it’s just horrible . I know exactly what you are going through as back in 2011 in owego , ny we lost our home. That was the third flood that we had gone through. 1996, 2006 and 2011 each yr was worse then the first . We had 7’ on our property we could have taken the sweat n tears and rebuild but for $150,000 dollars we said nope we are done as we were in our late 70’s n early 60’s and there was no way in heck we were going to go in debt for that amount. So we sold the house as is and took such a loss but we needed to do this for our peace of mind. We are now 83 n 70 yrs old and we were able to buy a mobile home five yrs ago and it’s not what we wanted but God led us to this place and we made it into a beautiful place to live. Again my heart goes out to you all. God bless

Water is so incredibly powerful, it's scary! I'll be praying for all of these good people, and hoping they get their lives back together as fast as humanly possible! It's great to see a community come together to help out

I live in Albany up in the mtns. We got hit hard by Irene. Massive damage. If this storm had lasted as long as Irene did, it would've wiped out most of NYS. Way more water and intense rain than Irene. Pardon my language, but y'all got fucked up by Debby. I'm glad it didn't last any longer than it did. Fingers crossed that yall can recover from this sooner than later and I hope after you sue the state you can get compensated for this. DEC is responsible for this, their refusal to allow those culverts to be hand cleaned is the direct cause of this flooding. Absolute BS! Makes me angry for you.
