This is not my usual upload schedule but I have been tinkering with editing with a new tool that is free to use. Let know what you find from this edit, and if the quality is acceptable. I know the speedo is missing, the GoPro didn't want to collaborate for this lap...
Don't worry about speaking. Would be nice to hear your remarks out what you learned from each run on the circuit, whether its a new part that improved your run, an issue with the GRY or circuit. Thanks for commenting on the Golf driver.
@@ronniet906 I will try to start speaking more often :)
Seems to be the conditions in which the Yaris can really show it's talent! Looking forward to taking mine on a track day soon
Yup, 100%! Just do it ✌️, it's really fun!
Not a good day to test oil cooler, but I'm very glad you finally installed it, since you track your GRY quite often. Nice driving as usual and wet lines!
The day started with god awful weather but it got quite a bit better afterwards. I could pump some good laps, I will share them in the next weeks :) ✌️
A very good wet line tutorial!
Thank you so much!
Great video! Are you experiencing rear differential overheating issues? Where the car goes into 2wd?
Thank you! Yes once I do 3 or 4 laps in a row I will get the error about the rear diff overheat. I have taken some measures to make it better:
- less toe on in the rear
- rear differential air deflector for the diff
- roll the exhaust in thermal protective band
No problem, did that resolve your issues? or still after 3 or 4 laps you get the error? are you thinking about installing diff cooler awd controller? @@GreatMotors
What are your thoughts on the hjs downpipe? Been considering myself but quite expensive
So far so good. No check engine light. No additional sound (with the rest of the exhaust stock). Since I changed the intercooler at the same time it's harder for me to notice. Exhaust temps were lower by around 20-30°C.
Exhaust temps are calculated based on OEM parts, so good chance they are bit lower again irl with the HJS.
