It's wasn't all down to Lenny's coaching. It was also down to Lenny's attitude, decisions, recruitment, temperament, and tactics.
I liked lennon as a player and his first spell as manager but look at the difference between him and ange.

How was it Celtics most important season?, That was the second time that Celtic had the chance to win the ten , Celtics most important season was in 1967 when they became the first British and non Latin team to win the greatest trophy in European football plus every other competition that they entered that historical season, by a country mile that was Celtics most important season and no other club has ever came near it.

Lennon was the manager who didn't deal with that fud Bolingoli properly. It went downhill from there. The buck stops with the manager and no amount of fluff pieces with shitehawk hacks will change that.
Why can't they just admit that they blew it? You have to give Rangers the credit they deserved that season. Their desire to prevent Celtic getting 10 in a row was greater than Celtic's desire to achieve it. Instead we've had a couple of years of excuses, which doesn't surprise me with Celtic by the way, because that's all we ever get from them. If they lose a game, the ref was to blame, when they fail in Europe time after time it's a list of other excuses. There's no shame in losing to a better opponent and that's what happened that season. Celtic very simply lost to a better opponent. No excuses.

We lost the league because we let our keeper go, and replaced him with garbage. The place needed cleared out and a new broom required. If we had won 10 the board would have kept Lenny

Multiple factors involved with one not mentioned being the fact we had came to the end of the squad cycle. Different times we would have moved players on and brought more in, or possibly not with the board and NL relationship, that’s just speculation. However in normal times we would have sold earlier and bought better.
Look the 9th Championship was given to Celtic due to Covid whereas in England they had to eventually play the remainder of the games so getting 9 was debatable. Celtics board have a lot to blame as when Brendan Rodgers left they went with the cheap option the fans favourite. It was a master stroke to appoint Rodgers after Rangers showed they were up for it v Dehlia team but Lennon appointment blew 10. I’m a Bluenose but my mate is a Celtic supporter and he actually wanted Hearts to stop the treble as it sealed Lennons job. Rangers eventually got better of him and stopped 10 and played outstanding season, but no fans suited Rangers too as less pressure. Nobody seen how quickly Ange turned that team around and that’s Rangers boards fault they’ve thought they had Celtic for another season and took eye off ball.
Fine post apart from the Celtic were given the league title because of COVID, Celtic were going to win that title at a canter and the league being stopped saved Gerrard's job as he was on the verge of walking away from rangers until the league was stopped.

Neil Lennon personally destroyed what he achieved as a player at Celtic in order to continue to line his own pocket than to step aside at a early stage of that season and put our clubs achievements in completing 10IAR first! And in failing to do so falsely making out the narrative that Gerrard was a good manager & will always be remembered as being a great manager and that other shower across the city stopped our run when truth be told Lennie’s poor decisions that season threw our 10IAR AWAY!!!

IMO the biggest single contributory factor in Celtic's implode season, was the failure to resign Craig Gordon. Catastrophic error, shit hot keeper as he is STILL demonstrating. We had a season without a goalkeeper, you can't win anything without a goalie, end of. It was self destruct lunacy. Lennon and the board to blame 100%. Not COVID-19
Rodgers leaving the season before and replacing him with Lenny was the start of it, love Lenny but his management style no longer suits the modern game, the current crop of footballers don't respond well to fire and brimstone, especially the crop we had at that time. Add to that the squad which was full of players who had reached the end of their cycles and wanted to move on, the pressure of the 10, awful signings in the summer, covid, the dubai fiasco and a rangers who almost bankrupted themselves in their desperation to stop the 10. Genuinely didn't care that much bout the 10 at the time and don't care now. The fact of the matter is we have won every single league title since Rangers2012 foundation bar 1 and they needed empty stadiums to win it 😂
