At3 on my 08 Yukon Denali. 18/32 tread when they were new and after 34k miles I’m down to 13/32. They have performed perfect in wet and snow/ice. 285/55r20 10ply on a 20x10 -24 moto metal. Super happy with the tires Running around 45-50 psi since I don’t tow much at all

I'm coming up on about 70k miles on this pair so they need to go but definitely were worth it every time, Im a Falken Loyal customer! Thanks for putting this review out since im on the market again.

I think I prefer the look of the siping on the at3w. I’m inclined to think that crossing pattern would get more surface area for the siping to actually do what it’s supposed to do.

I have just over 5k miles on them on my 21 F150 3.5L Love them on pavement, wet or dry (no snow yet), back roads or highway. Only been off pavement on dry and muddy dirt roads and they handle great. Barely noiser than the stock Wranglers and, as expected with a heavy tire, about .5 - .75mpg hit. Defenately would but again.

I’ve loved my AT3W’s aside from having variations in quality control which required road force balancing and having a few replaced under warranty for excess balancing needed. A set of four varied from 6lbs-36lbs of road force needed. I’ll definitely give these a shot once my current set wears out. The traction, tread wear and warranty has been hard to beat.

I regret not getting those tires for my tundra, I went with the Nitto Ridge grapplers good tire, but I moved to Iowa and the Falken AT3W would’ve been way better in the snow 😐 not to mention my Tundra is a 2WD, I’ve added weight to the rear wheels and thank god Iowa doesn’t have steep roads, I’ve been able to get around. Those new AT4W look awesome, I only have 10 thousand miles on those Nittos 295/70 R18 so I’ll try sell them, to get those new Falkens.

I think they should make another version called the AT4L and keep the same tech and design but make it Lightweight and less durable/heavy duty so that it is better suited for people with smaller vehicles that still want the cool look and traction performance but don’t go off-road on extreme terrain. An extra 2 pounds per tire can make a big impact on your vehicle performance (acceleration, braking, cornering, mpg) on something like a Subaru crosstrek or Corolla cross or even a crv or rav4.

I’ve been interested in these tires.
Had the Toyo at3 prior. Had 5/32 left with 70k miles on them out of 13/32. Did great on dry. Was quiet. Smooth. Rain performance started taking a huge hit. Snow did pretty decent. Went a 45 degree incline with 6 inches of snow without much struggle until about 30 feet. Also started dry rotting less than a year and chunks started to be missing.
Currently have Baja boss ats. So much better in performance. 10 ply instead of 6 ply this time so they are heavier and ride rougher. I’m sure the 6 ply’s ride great. Average 1/32 per 10k miles. Currently have 90k miles on them. 7000 pound Denali and tow often as well. Do extremely well in snow. Don’t struggle at all and tested it on the same hill. Truly do phenomenal in everything except the noice is getting louder and throw rocks like crazy a gravel driveway. Only 2 complaints but they are aggressive. Was very quiet for 50k miles. Toyo sucked extremely bad in mud. These do phenomenal even with a dual axle 16 foot trailer. Keep in mind the Denali also weighs 7000 pounds from the added stereo weight inside (not your average system as I have 20 grand into it). I do try to keep it a pavement princess but job sites and the land fill in the back prevented that. (Conditions like your going muddin)
I hear nothing but good things on falken. The 8 ply is 12 pounds lighter per tire and been thinkin about trying it. 57.7 pounds on the at4w. Baja boss at 10 ply is 70 pounds on the mt website.
Wanting to also try the new bfg ko3 but bfg shows no signs on releasing it in more sizes and customer service department is trash with any help.

The tires require significant driver attention to keep the truck on track compared to the Bridgestone Dueller Revos I had on it previously. Currently running the baja boss at on my f250, i had the wild peak at3w prior to these. Both are great tires. For my truck and usage i found both handled the truck extremely well. The wildpeaks advantage was its quieter than the baja boss however i needed a tire that could handle the mud better so i went with the baja boss at. Due to construction and offroad needs while hunting. These have been able to handle it all, deep snow, mud, gravel and road manners loaded and unloaded very well. I would definitely say the at4w looks like they will handle the mud better than the at3w did and could be a happy medium. I have 30k miles on the baja boss now and still have over half my tread left. I recommend at3w/ at4w to anyone and they wouldnt be disappointed. I got 40k out of my wildpeaks and had 5/32 left. Saved them for another truck. The same goes for the baja boss at, great tire a little louder for obvious reasons but nothing terrible especially on a diesel truck. Current size is LT285/65r20 running them at 60psi and rotate every oil change

My only complaint with the baja boss AT’s was the weight. I could feel how heavy they were. Thats being said i have not run the falkens

I think we measured them at 62lbs vs 58 for the AT3w standard load

Please stop that background noise or music or whatever. It’s very annoying and distracting. Thanks for the great review.

What’s wrong with the AT3? Why did they make the AT4 when most people already consider the a AT3 the best all terrain.

@@user-jm5dw3gm8y yeah the AT3 is lighter compared to the AT4. Atleast on my size @ 35x12.5r15 the AT4 is listed at 80lbs and the AT3 is listed at 70lbs. AT4 does have a 3 ply sidewall but I haven’t seen anyone really have problems with their sidewalls on the AT3.

I really like the new staggered shoulder blocks, I think those will definitely help with off-road performance. I just can't with the weight though, the AT3W was already too heavy for most sizes. My little 4.0 Toyota can barely get out of its own way as it is, lol.
