  • Sugar: we hate to love it and we love to hate it. Is it making us fat and sick? Is sugar in all forms bad for us? The answer is YES and NO. In this episode I discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly side of sugar.

I literally listen to your books on audible and CZcams videos at least 3 times a week to make sure I’m taking captive every thought. Thanks for talking about sugarcane and slavery. I’m Haitian and hearing someone verbalize that, means a lot to me, and my people.

So is organic fair-trade sugar okay in moderation? For everything else I use fruit and honey but I make vegan cookies where I add two cups flour to 1/2 cup organic sugar ratio. I've even cut the sugar content down by 1/4 cup from what the recipe suggests

What about Monkfruit sugar substitute? Does it breakdown in your body like fresh fruit?

May I kindly ask a question . Help is really needed on letting go of the control food has andcindemnation. Can one pray and fast to let go of the control food has on them . For how long to fast and how to ensure that the fasting makes a difference by transferring focus to God and been led by the Spirit .
If I have never fasted before,I want to fast and pray for 21 days cause the control food has is too painful especially emotionally . Is this possible? Thank you .
How can one be focused on taking all thoughts captive, the resistance to do my own things is too much

Use Xylitol. It is Birch tree "sugar" and it consists "0"% of sugar in It!
Use it as regular sugar. The only difference it will never harm you.

nelly, i've fasted before too (28 day water fasts) and the best thing i've found for me is to make adjustments while i continue eating instead of fasting. when i was fasting, obviously the cravings were put on mute, but when i started eating again, they came back quickly, even though my body recognized it as something negative or foreign, the habits in my mind still wanted those things. it's easier to practice the change by intentionally eating things that are good for you than to stop eating good and bad things altogether in my experience.
