Pain comes from hope. Hope that things will be better, hope that things will turn out for the best cos that's what we're taught. We're taught that everything is going to be okay but then we wait and wait until we can't wait any longer and it just hits us that hope isn't worth holding on to. Pain follows from having hope. As much as we want to stay hopeful, it slowly kills at our mental health, our dreams constantly shattered. There's no manifesting anything good when you do the whole process of being positive every day for long periods of time but when you take an opportunity to fulfill that hope and it falls flat then you know it was all just fairy dust.
