It's that time of year!! The jon boat tournament season actually started last month, but we were on the struggle bus the first two. I tried to edit them individually, and even together - but it didn't flow well so I gave you a quick run down on that in the intro. This one made up for the first two, and any other unfortunate days we run into in the future.
By far one of the most memorable days I've ever had on the water and hoping to keep the momentum going. Couldn't have dreamt it better.

Man I could not wipe the smile off my face watching this vid. So stoked for you. It was super cool seeing all the dudes from the tourney standing around cheering you on as you weighed in.
Caught myself with a smile on my face multiple times editing the video. It was really cool to share that fish with everyone in the tournament and it felt like everyone was genuinely hyped to see a fish that big come out of there. My main take away and hope is that we’re going to start seeing more fish that size (and hopefully bigger) moving forward.

One of the best part of this video other than your PB and lake record PB , is the fact that you get to experience this with your brother. I can assure you that this story will often be brought up at a family gatherings and will be passed on to your kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
No one I’d rather have in the boat with me when I’m fishing with ace boogie.
You have GOT TO LOVE the high from not only catching a PB....but, when you are so pumped and then you just talk about it for the next 30 min....you "think" you have it figured out on how to catch em from then on, etc. lol. It's a fun feeling for sure. Sometimes we just get lucky, and trigger the right fish at the right time. Good job Matt!

Matt that was the best tournament video I ever seen of you and Ace. I love watching you and Ace fishing together as a team. Always make time to spend time with your brother because you never know what tomorrow will bring. My brother passed away June 2020 and I miss him.
