That's a great question, thank-you! Tacho into the 14in1 only requires one input on the BLUE Wire of the SP/TA port. Sourcing this signal can vary depending on vehicle and engine setup for your application. We sell a few supporting products that can make this allot easier if your vehicle doesn't have a standard tach configuration already.

Can you set and alarm threshhold for each item you monitor ?

Thanks for watching through, Yes! All Sensor inputs can be set to have custom alarm values for the JRP 14in1 Multigauge monitor.
There is also an Advanced Alarm setup video you can watch which covers some special features that requires multiple sensor input conditions to trigger special alarms.

Dose it do anything an ultragauge cant?

Thanks for the message, YES! the 14in1 does a whole lot more! This is like comparing Chalk to Cheese!
The Ultragauge is a OBD2 only Scan style gauge that reads information from a factory ECU, great for people that want to see some of what the Factory Dash wont tell you.
Where as the 14in1 is standalone system using JRP Sensors, coupled with a central control unit to display advanced warnings only possible from multiple inputs. Plus you can use addon features like Head Guard Ultra and Aux Relay triggering controlled from this small little unit.
OBD2 can also be used to pick up things like Tach signal.
But the 14in1 is designed to use our sensors first, these units can be installed in carburetted engines with No OBD2 at all!
