Hola. El boceto lo hago directamente sobre la madera. Trabajo con modelo o con fotos. En este caso me inspire de fotos de una escultura de Andy Bergholtz.

Y que tipo de pinturas usa..??
Difícil de decir porque hago algunas horas después del trabajo. Pero si lo haría seguido fácilmente se termina en un día laboral. La madera es molle costeño.

What is the long thin tool you are using to clear nostrils and mouth?
It is a classic straight gouge 4mm wide, being a classic gouge the fierce one is long and that is why you cannot see the handle.
Flexcut has the same with short iron.
