  • Yeah, we all know it's the Thomas Muller role but WHAT IS IT ACTUALLY? What does he do, what you can expect of him and more importantly what he IS NOT (a wide poacher). I'm showing you what the Raumdeuter does based on numbers

    I was just trying to change one of my roles to a Raumdeuter. This is going to help a lot! Thanks for the tactical insights!!!

      I hope it really helps! At least set expectations right .... 😁 Share some experience with us when you can, I'm still experimenting and trying to maximize the role ...

    Interesting test. Regarding the difference in passing for each side, it might be explained by the movement of their teammates. E.g. If the ST is moving more often to one side. Thank you for the video.

      Good point! Haven't thought of that!

    It’s so great with the dribble more instruction and somebody playing a playmaker role

    Good guide. In my opinion, based off production quality alone, you should have more subscribers. I'm adding myself to that list.

    Very interesting as I struggle to use this role with consistency.
    Would you rather say it is a wide shadow striker or offensive midfielder?
    It is not really a playmaker in my experience

    • @zapbulon
      @zapbulon  Před měsícem +2

      I'd say a wide attacking midfielder with "roam more", taking part in buildup and getting futher forward ... something like this. You gotta be aware that they just play TOO CENTRAL. As average position you can compare to IW on Support. But it also depends A LOT on if they are inverted or not ...
      Consistency is the single thing you will rarely get from a Raumdeuter, my experience shows they either win MoM or get a 6.2. A wildcard ... kinda

    I failed to see a difference between Raumdauter and Trequartista in attacking phase. Both drop deeper, both dribble more, both deliver assist and can score. May You elaborate on that? 🙈😉

      @zapbulon  Před měsícem

      According to my data the Trequartista has 30% more xG/90 (out of around 26% more shots/90). The RMD has 23% more xA/90 and does 20% more passes. Both attempt around 45% more crosses when not inverted BUT the crossing success rate of the RM is 50% better no matter if inverted or not.
      I only compare AML/AMR
      Long story short: The Trequartista tries to be more of a goalscoring threat, makes more runs, dribbles a bit more when not inverted (while the RMD dribbles a lot more when inverted) and on average you can think of him as someone who will 25% more try to score while the RMD will 25% more try to create for others.
      In defence the T will press and intercept more while the RMD will press less but tackle more

      @@zapbulon thank You ❤️ so it is completly counter-intuitive. I would say exactly opposite as Your data shows (and ofc I would be wrong). Thx!

    I use it with my Hajduk Split save. Ivan Perisic is in beast mode using it.

    I have 2 saves in FM. In 21 and in 23.
    The first is 30+ in game years tge other is ongoing and is 15 years in and i have had so far only one such player in each save that has actially worked and done great at the highest level. Bouth of them started slow and blomed in to their role after a few seasons.
    So maybe like Thomas is the only one currently in my saves there can also be only one such player.

      I've had some success in previous versions of the game, I feel like the role was more direct and more often in positions to convert chances
