Have you ever tried a DPVR headset? If you've ever tried one of those roller coaster machines at an amusements then you maybe have and never realised it!

@@RaMarcus partly financial and quite frankly I wanted it for gaming but I found the app store to have to many broken and straight up abandoned games...and oculus doesn't take down broken games (atleast when I was using VR) but I so miss it but sadly VR isnt in the budget at the moment lol...but watching your videos about it is still very fun 👍

Thanks. Yeah it's hardly noticeable that it's 3DOF in racing sims unless you try to get out of your seat... which you really shouldn't be. 😅

Honestly as a consumer and not a business the standard E4 would be better for you. It has a sort of 3DOF mode if you need it, but having the extra flexibility, headphones and controllers is worth the extra money over the C/commercial version.

I have seen a black E4 in the CES coverage by MRTV... seems like they are about to release it for us regulars. With added fans and other bits updated... and a highend version somewhere on the horizon. Worth a watch if you have not seen it.
Yeah I've seen that. The E4 v2 has been in development for a long time. Should be decent.
@@RaMarcus They can seriously take over the post Reverb G2 market if done right. Pimax Crystal is a massive upgrade but it also is expensive and not the best in terms of plug and play.
They have an E4 C version 2 in black theyre about to launch and it has some more improvements. It's a very decent headset for the price.
looking for a replacement for my reverb g2 "thanks micro=soft=cks" i only use vr for seated gaming an only use over ears audio these look good to me
The normal E4 which is white would be perfect for you. I really like the headset these days and DPVR are open to feedback and take action which is great to see.

No controller, no tracking, no audio,.... Would have to have pretty amazing screens and lenses to justify that being $400
But the website literally has no real details, nor is there a uk price. Seems way over priced for what it is.
For the right user having less features is actually a plus point, less to go wrong. Its not for regular VR users and commercial users value a predictable, simple feature set more.
