I have the same bike and played with the kinematics chip. The sensitive is good if you want a plowing machine and don't do big jumps or ride less aggressive, but the Responsive position is wayyyy better for popping stuff, doing big jumps and pumping the terrain. Still have quite good traction and sensibility for rough stuff.

I have the same bike as well and I totally agree with you. The responsive position makes it easier to jump and also the suspension becomes more progressive. I also added 3 volume spacers to make it poppier. Without those spacers I was also using almost every inch of travel of the rear shock on my home trails. With the spacers in I have some reserves for the bike park. BTW: I am 85 kg and 183 cm, own this bike in Size L.

@@timdanella5691 hi, I got it with zero spacers. I had to pump 250 psi in it with 0 zero spacers to get the right sag and I was still using almost every inch of travel. With 3 spacers in (4 is possible) I am now with 200 psi at the right sag (with gear on 87 kg = 30%). Hope that helps in any way.

What is your experiences with Fox38? I have just checked a couple of videos on youtube about creaking noises in crown area. Have you noticed also the same issue for this fork?

Thanks for the video. I just put in a pre-order for a Clash which I'm quite excited about. One question...
Do you find you get any brake jack or pedal kick back when braking hard in technical rooty/rocky sections? Apparently this is the only drawback with a single pivot frame.
I noticed that the brake mount is attached to the chain stay and not the seat stay like most bikes. Perhaps that helps with the "single pivot brake jack" affect.

@@TheShredShedMTB Thanks for confirming. I hoped that would be the case.
Btw, regarding sizing.. I'm just over 6' and I ordered a small frame. I know that sounds crazy but here's my reasoning.. I noticed that over the last few years, bikes have just been getting longer and bigger. I compared the geo with bikes I have had in the past and I noticed that the small Clash actually has a larger reach than the large v1 5010 I had. I spend a lot of time on a dirt jumper and I like the playful feel of smaller bikes. I know the small has a small seat tube length of 380mm but I'm hoping I could fit a 180mm dropper. Anyway, I hope I don't regret the size choice.

Is the Clash that BAD to climb on or is it manageable?
because if it is at least a decent climber, I think I wanna go with this bike, I'd like to go for the clash and it's quicker steering, more playful, and better handling 27.5" front and rear vs a Mullet in the Meta SX?

Did you end up getting the suspension tuned in better? In the other vid you mentioned you've never bottomed out the fork, but bottomed the shock quite a bit. I'm curious if volume spacers will sort that out without degrading the rear-end performance too much. If it doesn't, that just means the bike is over-forked, really.

I'm about to build up a furious (very similar to clash) and I'm getting a size small lol. Commencal makes very long bikes. I'm 177cm (almost 5'10). The size small furious has a reach of 440 and a stack of 613. That's bigger than my 2017 Transition TR500 size large! When bikes are too large I can't bunny hop or manual nearly as well and overall feels sloppy to me. Personal preference at the end of the day.
I never trust the size charts!!

I’m 5’10” and wear 32” length pants if that helps for a comparison lol don’t worry to much about reach. You can adjust bars, stem and saddle to account for a little bit of that.
