Copper Harbor is a joke, you have to walk up 500ft. They close it to vehicles and force you to pay a hippie in a van. Wasted an 8 hr trip up there. Never again.

Paint thinners will remove anything - adhesives, tar, name it ... while at the same time, leaving your hardened paint intact.

I used to have a 29er motobecane- was entry level and all stock but a few parts really loved it on beginner trails - as I am by no means anything but a novice at the moment- well I lost the bike a few years ago and I decided to get a new bike - was going to get another one when I came across this bike although it is now a 2024 version- I upgraded the front fork to an air ride - I’d suggest a tapered rock shx Judy silver in a tapered - it will smooth a lot on this bike- get a budget friendly dual chamber air shock for rear and enjoy this bike it’s a bike that can do way more and it’s proven itself with a good rider. That’s not me at moment I’m starting over so to speak but it’s a good bike for folks that will stick with you for a while on your mountain bike journey

Bro your insane not going to the doctor. When I went OTB on my dirt bike I snapped my left collar bone and I had to have two surgeries and over a year of minimal functioning. The fact that you just lived with that pain for that long is crazy I get it cuz of your wife but this injury will most likely effect you the rest of your life even after my two surgeries my shit is never the same I get tight muscles in my neck and back all the time

"The rubberized coating always comes off the hooks." Just rip it off first and add rubber hosing with the same interior diameter as the hook. It's super cheap and lasts forever. Use lube to get it on easily.

When I looked at hooks last year I found it pretty silly that it's hard to find something big enough for just a standard 2.4 mtb tire. I had to chope off some of the tip from one I bought because even though it looked fairly big and was marketed as being eligible for my needs, it just wasn't. How hard is it to just make a f'ing hook that will fit most bikes...

Velocirax Tilt and Pivot: steadyrack but with the ability to space bikes out as needed. Superior IMO.

Not sure how big/old your daughter is now, but as an MTB dad of a 6yr old girl I have to suggest the Mac-Ride for bringing the little one out on some trails. Obviously not as fast and playful as riding solo, but you'll find so much more enjoyment in taking her along on some chill trails and sharing the adventures! I also am about a year into the gravel world and loving it too.

I use a steady rack for a surron with no battery, 100lb. Feels like I’m maxing it out but it works for a year now. getting a dirt bike swiveled onto the wall is great.

Really appreciate this video! How about WHEEL storage? I have way too many wheels and storing them against the wall isn’t optimal. Wall storage options that allow me to rotate the wheel (tubeless goop) would be great. Just an idea! 😅😊

Steady rack does not work with bikes with fenders.

I've been using the Feedback Sports velo hinge for a few years now and the hooks are still holding up nicely. Helps me to hang four bikes on the wall of a very small basement room, while the other side of the room can still be used for shelves. The steady rack looks like a much nicer option, but I got four velo hinges for the price of one steady rack 🤷‍♂️

I've had steady racks for the last 4 years and while expensive, they are just fantastic and well worth the money. I bought the racks that handle fenders for my road\gravel bikes as they reduce the amount of slack around the wheel in the rack. I have 6 of them for my 6 bikes in my garage.

Nice video, you really showed a lot of options. However, I have a 12 foot ceiling in my shed so I use those original hooks that you had two for each bike, and just hang the bike upside down from the ceiling. Glad to see you’re back making videos though!

Don't hang your hydraulic based bikes upside down. Just been through a 2 year court case with Rochshox for where my forks and rear shock leaked, I lost.
