How to Change A Seatpost Clamp with an Internally Routed Dropper Seatpost

In this video, I show you a little trick to replace your seatpost clamp on a bike that has a dropper post with an internally routed cable! Rather than disconnecting the cable from the dropper post, you can remove the bolt from the seatpost clamp and sneak the cable through the gap!

Your video is very helpful but I couldn't get enough slack in the cable to remove it far enough. I loosened it at the barrel adjuster and even turned the handlebars but couldn't get it high enough. Will I need to remove the cable at the lever?
Try removing the lever from the handlebars, but leaving the cable attached to the lever
What should I do if my seatpost bolt on my clamp is not coming loose and is just snapping every time I try to loosen it?

So what if I accidentally disconnected internal cabling from the west post? Any videos on how I reconnect the two? I will I saw this video before doing so!
Does your cable have a barrel clamp? Or is it crimped onto the dropper? Either way, it should be pretty easy to reattach. To give yourself some slack, I would disconnect the cable from the lever. That will give you about an inch of slack to make reattaching to the dropper a bit easier.
