No diff lockers,
Mine don't always like water, but that's just mine, every other jimny likes it.. I build mine nearly 5 years ago, and I thrash it every time I'm out, that's what there made for.. Go on road trips Wales, it loves it, can't fault em..
JIMNY or a landy are best 2 jeeps, as can get parts easy..
Land cruiser and hylux good but expensive for parts and not as common
Mate, I know your a fan of the 31" special tracks and use em yourself...
Have you messed about with your transfer ratios to compensate for the bigger tyres or not bothered?
Also, have you had any probs with the standard CV joints or half shafts because of the 31's?
I know they're hard on the wheel bearings.

Standard transfer box using 31s,
I got through front bearings as I got offset modular wheels plus 30mm spacers, and like to give the jimny some thrash
Cv I use standard ones, only ever renewed them 1 time from building the jeep, 5 years ago
Cv tend to pop if thrashed on full lock on steering, if steering is straight, be sound

Steel modular rims 15", my offset is 25mm on the rim, with a extra 30mm spacers

But its lasted 5 years of hammer since I built it.. So it's not doing bad lol
