We're back in the making-AI-Pokémon business, and this time things are going to get REAL weird! Instead of using an AI specifically designed for cranking out Pokemon, we're using Dall•E Mini and another AI called Midjourney to generate true Pokémonstrosities!

I cannot believe how good the quality of this video is. The people that were complaining about him only making "cute" ones and skipping cool ones need to understand that he did dozens of full, professional-grade illustrations for a single video. This is cool content! I hope your channel starts getting more recognition.
Craiyon's stuff look like nonsense, Midjourney's stuff look nightmarish, also jeez that jumpscare made me have a heart attack.

The jumpscare didn't even fully scare me all that much, it just felt really jarring for how loud it was
With Midjourney Ive learned adding tags help. Like saying "anime style" "cartoon" "pokemon style" "high definition " i've managed to get very interesting and less nightmarish things when i specify.
Indeed it does! I tried adding lots of tags, but for some reason I couldn't quite get it to stop cranking out demonic designs...

The amount of work gone into illustrating all of these concepts is highly appreciated. It’s not easy to bang out that many designs even if they are inspired by a similar silhouette.

The art is great and I love the concept, I wasn't planning on commenting BUT at 5:27 ish, "Dynodour"? I laughed out loud because my younger sister, when she was like 2 or 3, that was legit how she pronounced "dinosaur". So now "Dino-doir" is a running gag in our family. I was just so happy and surprised to see the Pokemon version finally exist

The way you interpret everything as actual, good Pokemon in the official artstyle with fitting names and all is wonderful, and the way you've done your webcam and the music and all makes this weirdly old-timey

Honestly, Domissar is a better looking Dragon-Steel type than Duraludon! You really knocked it out of the park with this.
Once again I find myself struggling to stifle laughter at 1 in the morning watching one of your videos.
While the previous video's round cute designs were lovely, these ones are just fantastic. Think Banyan, Merneon and Clawthul are my favourite. Also Serafee appears to be worshipped by two molten Quagsire in the AI image.
As a side note, the lovecraftian pokemon concept reminds me of the good ol' days when I was 15 trying to live the dream of making my own fakemon region combined with eldritch horror (thank you for making that dream a reality because hell knows I wasn't ever going to).

Anime animators do more than that in a day so it's really impressive but far from impossible :v
@@tincoeani9529 yes but animators are drawing frames where one is very similar to the next, gotta hand it to him for all of these unique renders. So much quality time and effort went into this one video.
@@tincoeani9529 Fair, but like the other person commented, very different for one person to do a bunch of completely different drawings from concept to polish instead of working on a team. But animators really do deserve to be paid more, they literally kill themselves working the jobs they do, it makes me sad to idolize them when the speed they’re working at lands them with heart attacks. Way too much respect for animators to not wish them LESS speed.

Honestly, despite the mid journey "art style" being slightly terrifying on every single thing it did, I would absolutely love a Pokemon style game where all of the monsters are just actual hideous horrifying creatures beyond human comprehension.

Even in the three most requested undrawn pokemon, two out of the three were also cute and small. Leave this artistically talented 50's talk show host (who I HAVE subscribed to) alone.

I love the reference at 6:10, me and the boys did a project on lovecraft in 7th grade and our agreement was that I do none of the writing work and just do the illustrations. I ended up illustrating the story about dagon, all six pictures the night before our presentation, I ended up falling asleep on my drawings and waking up at 3am and having to finish them in the bathroom. good times

I will say your last video on making ai pokemon actually ended up inspiring me to try making some of my own! My favorite among them was a small bird looking one I dubbed Circitoo, a flying/electric type. It was my first time dabbling in fakemon and thanks for the inspiration to step out of my usual comfort zone Mr. Gold!

It's a shame when doing the mid Journey ghost-type Pokemon you didn't do the one on the bottom it seems like a really cool idea my personal interpretation was some sort of ghostly crab with its eyes on the front of its claws so it has to hold its claws in front of it to complete the look of its face meaning that its default pose essentially has its hands up in a guard position

I am signed up for Dall-E 2! I'll probably use it for a video eventually. But the weirdness of the other AI's results is actually what appeals to me about them!
