  • Dave takes this handsome hardtail Electromatic on quick rip through the new Fender Super Reverb Tone Master. No pedals on this one. Enjoy!

That's one great guitarist playing what seems to be a nice guitar.

Does anyone know what that particular finish is called ? Lovely color; i am interested in possibly picking one up for myself, and if i could find that finish that could be the clincher !

Not sure on that one. In the Gretsch site it has the standard colors and some sites like Chicago Music Exchange and Sweetwater and I think another one or two had limited production runs that were unique but nothing crazy.

Good job, as always. But isn’t it quite neck heavy?

I've had this guitar about 2 years and yes slightly unbalanced neck if playing standing. Literally only minor gripe for this price though.

This is actually how this guitar sounds. Not full and heavy like the other heavily processed videos on YT. The fret buzz, the tinniness etc. is real here. Is it terrible? I don't think so but I would like to change out the bridge for something that doesn't sound as thin.

Seems to be a Gretsch Electromatic humbucker thing. My hollowbody from them has really muddy low end especially

@brianhendershot3669 I recently bought a pro jet which has the older blacktop filtertrons and has a far superior sound IMO these broad trons were a downgrade I think

You're a bozo. This thing sounds amazeballs, and it wouldn't with pu change. You can't have everything, one choice precludes another. If you have such shit taste in music it's your fault not the guitar's.

Must be using some type of pedal. All the other vids I've seen it didn't sound this lousy distorted.
