    As a child growing up in Europe I was always very impressed by the big American rigs (trucks) as for instance shown in Smokey And The Bandit, Convoy and so on. But as I grew older I got to know that American truks sometimes are just to big, not very fuel effiient in comparison to European Trucks. The Euro Trucks are also better build (build quality)
    As I kid I would have wanted to be truckdriver of a big American truck.
    Nowadays, as I'm older, I would choose a European made truck every day of the week.

    After a long search I found details from the team of the braking wagon.

    • @villekinnunen6357

      Friction plate underneath the braking wagon makes it very hard to drag thru the track. 😁

    • @pubjohndoe3599
      @pubjohndoe3599 Před 8 měsíci +2

      I think the braking wagon has movable weights, so you can move then further forward to create more drag. Also they can add or remove weights. Usually they do a test pull before a new class to see if the braking wagon is balanced right. You don't want to have 10 meter pulls but you don't want to have all the pulls full pulls either (to the end of the strip). If there are multiple full pulls, they add/move weights so it would be harder and have a second round to decide the winner.

    I made a suggestion before to look at tractor pull
    Also tractor pull failures They literally explode like a bomb 💣
    Also look up Australian bandag bullet
    Specific build drag truck 25000 horses twin V8 4 tubo diesels coupled together
    Special tyres as melts them in a couple burn outs
    It was used by tyre company to advertise their tyre for commercial vechiles
    Travelled Australia 🇦🇺 drag circuit's
    Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

    The Scanias in this video are newer and stronger than the old Volvos. But when it comes to the newer versions etc, for me the Vovols beat the Scanias (when it come to luxury etc). It is just my opinion.

      Cause it is, it’s not overly busy or dressed up like a lot of trucks. It was also much shorter, not so tall
