Steel 41 mm is easier to get than the 37mm because the 41 is really big on many wrist. Nevertheless it’s amazing to get this one on the first visit. Congratulations!

Well done. I waited three years for mine. I was lucky to get an offshore diver on a walk in from Geneva last year and purchased a ladies 34mm for the gf last year from London. So I managed to get three watches from them in around 18 months
A great retail experience. I tried your one, and the taupe off-shore in Chicago, the staff were great.

I also was offered to buy a Code 11:59 without even showing interest in buying it. I visited the boutique just to try some of their models, it was not a Royal Oak I agree but the market is definitely softening
This was in 2022 but that’s great that something was available. Hopefully things continue to get better 🤞
So a person can feel successful in life when you go and beg to give someone your hard earn money and in return you get rejected. In this case by Rolex. Why do people go and beg rolex to buy abwatch from them. The whole purpose of being successful is to be able to do whatever you want without having to beg for it.

No previous purchase. I would say just be yourself, they’re gonna do their research anyway but knowing the exact watch you want and having a diverse collection doesn’t hurt.

Was offered a grey diver instead but I declined, which means I will be quickly forgetten by the Sales Rep. Been trying for 4 years, but about to just give up and buy grey market since prices have come down quite a bit.
A 50th anniversary in 2024? 😂 most likely a client who returned his watch to the boutique… don’t dream bro, you can’t walk in an AP boutique and get out with a RO 50th anniversary (even the white dial)…
Nobody is returning a RO to the boutique. Bought it in 2022 I’m just telling the story now 👍
@@sully2live yes, clients can return their watch to the boutique if unworn. AP prefers that instead of seeing the watch going on the grey market. They can then allocate it to another customer. I friend of mine own an AP boutique so I know what I’m talking about.
Why don’t you show the back of the watch that we can see the 50th anniversary balance wheel?
I am sorry but I am gonna be the first one here calling this story a complete bullshit.
There is almost 0% chance of getting any Royal Oak regardless of size on a first boutique visit (including lady sizes), not to mention 50th anniversary, which was offered ONLY to existing clients, preferably those who already had more than one watch from AP.
If anybody including boutique manager sold 50th anniversary RO to a new walk-in client, I am pretty sure they would be fired right away.
There are AP employees at HQ who's job is to manage allocations, that means somebody actually has to approve this watch being offered to you.
Also, if this video is seen by existing AP customers, I am 100% sure there would be so many complaints and questions because people are waiting years for these watches.
So no offence to you, but this is complete BS made up story.
Your opinion. I know it’s out of the ordinary, that’s the point of telling the story. I’ve had many unusual experiences with watch boutiques and while rare, things like this do actually happen from time to time. Thanks for watching.
I got a 37mm RO after one visit to the boutique and a wait of 3 weeks. It’s possible, just got to get very lucky bc yes, there is an approval process for allocations.
