The fact that both Dortmund and PSG have made it to the Champions League semi finals highlights how tough our qualifying grouo was, and for a dodgy penalty we might have made it out of the group
Corrupt UEFA done us, it was sickening. PSG deserved to win the game on chances created. You could say Dortmund at home is where we messed up. It’s fine, we are learning.
I know it’s ifs and buts however we have dropped 18 points to teams in the bottom 8. Bournemouth - 5 points Notts Forest - 3 points. Luton - 5 points. Everton - 5 points. Which ever position we finish this season will be an achievement by the players who have remained fit.
We could catch spurs up, yes their 10 points ahead of us but there's still 6 games to play(18 points to play for so it could be done) we should be aiming to win all them games
Very unfair on Dummy. Why not blame Trippier' ricks which have cost us points? Or Pope's or Botman''s or anyone else's? Many players have made mistakes which have cost us points. Dummy is black and white, through and through. He always gives 100,%. It is terrible to see fans piling in on him for a mistake.
When I listened to Eddie’s post match Spurs video at pitchside, I think he speaks so well. Topic for future, what is happening with reports about director changes, SM💩 or factually correct?
Excellent once more. The only "Matters Arising" that I have ever disagreed with you on is the two goalkeepers on the bench point. Whilst I agree that it's a reward to some extent to be upgraded to the bench as a youngster I do think the experience of being involved even as a bench warmer could be beneficial to a youngster. Also we not only had a third goalkeeper on the bench this week we had a player who is set to be released. At least if a youngster with prospects gets on the bench with no chance of playing he can at least feel part of the process with a chance of progression. More so than a player already set for release.
City and Arsenal out of UCL. both German clubs into the semis. Coefficient in the mud. Villa will take the last Champions league place so finishing 6 is the only way to guarantee European football. Let us not get excited. We have not won at Palace for a while now.
Make a quick exit before the police arrive 😉🤣 as for top 5 a lot depends on Arsenal tonight and west ham on Thursday night, Arsenal have a chance maybe 60-40 in Bayerns favour but West Ham with a couple of suspended players Paqueta & Emerson I see them going out so 5th place might go to the Germans🤷♂️ If we win our last 6 games we have a chance to Nick 5th but I see Man U as the biggest name we play but for me score line wise I see a tighter game at Palace but they play west ham on Sunday so we do have a slight advantage fitness wise and some players back on the bench who can really help us for 20mins or so against palace if we need them. Spurs have a good record against Man City but a very poor one away at Chelsea I think one win in the last 30 years or so but this is a different Chelsea as we know. So all in all I think we’ll fall 2-3 points short but finish 6th above Man U for the first time in PL history. While it’s possible we have to believe it can happen but also be realistic that if we don’t because being realistic finishing 6th considering what has happened is bloody remarkable. 🖤🤍🖤🤍

PSG should not of been there if we had not got ripped off with that penalty

What might have been… 😫

@@GeordieJournos yeah maybe next time 👍
To coin a phrase, one game at a time but I love the optimism and enthusiasm. They got us all dreaming again. Unlikely but we can do it HWTL 👍
Well said.

Imagine it would be incredible. Especially with the injuries we’ve had . I think we will as well . Hitting some good form, spark is there. HWTL
Eddie and his team deserve massive credit given all the adversity faced.

If Dubravka had not slipped and Dummit hadn’t gone wrestling for fun we could have had a more realistic chance

Can’t argue with that!

All our games are winnable except Man Utd but we often beat the top clubs and lose to the lesser ones hopefully not this season's run in
End of the season headline: 'Toon miss out on Champions League due to Dumment RKO'

Amanda and Jamie are still directors and remain on the board at NUFC. Nothing to worry about.

Cheers, Jonnie. Fair point on the goalkeepers.
