@@Nutsarooba It's actually smarter than that. He gets his foot back into situations most players would give up. I can't believe more players don't chance their arm with it, especially with VAR checking everything. It's dodgy but the refs keep giving them.

They brought in new rules this week for the ball boys, they have to stay sat on the stools when they are not actively retrieving the balls, the balls are now placed on cones around the pitch, he was doing exactly what the new rules require him to do, good lad.

We did seperate 8 years ago & she moved back to Leicester to work for LCFC the season that they won the title. Certainly very talented at pretending to be fouled and cheating (in that respect) to get a penalty. Makes me sick to watch this so-called "sport" and I say that as a football fan and lover of the beautiful game with no allegiance either way. The second "penalty" is just laughable.

Can Gordon appeal the second yellow? I genuinely think that he was actually passing the ball back to the keeper to take the free kick. He didn't stop anyone from getting to the ball so it's not like he was trying to hold-up play??

No, he should not have, it's better this way. This read means he will get a much needed rest, versus Everton too, and his yellow will be back to 8, avoiding 2-match ban. This is good for the team.

The standard of care the referee applies to the situation leading to penalty nr. 2 is completely unreasonable. How can a player, already caught in a shooting motion, possibly consider another player's intervention from behind, sneaking their foot in before the shooting player hits the ball?

Matthew Raisbeck and John Anderson are legends on the radio. "Dees are all over de place" and "just put it in the net" are my favourite Ando quotes. Always worth a listen. Total sport on BBC radio Newcastle at 6pm most nights is good entertainment too.
