I gave Evil Dead Rise a 9.6/10 and it's because Evil Dead Rise reminds me of three of my favorite horror movies The Shining (1980) directed by Stanley Kubrick and The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter and Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron anyway the elevator scene in Evil Dead Rise reminds me of the elevator scene in The Shining (1980) directed by Stanley Kubrick and all of the deadites voice changing reminds me of The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter with all of their voice changing like Dog Thing and Bennings Thing and Norris Thing and Palmer Thing and Blair Thing in The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter and the book of the dead showing me what the deadites really look like also remind me of The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter my number 1 favorite sci-fi horror movie and Lily Sullivan's character Beth reminds me of Sigourney Weaver's character Ripley from Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron and Nell Fisher's character Kassie reminds me of Carrie Henn's character Newt from Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron and of course Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron is both action and horror anyway both Beth and Kassie escaping also reminds me of both Ripley and Newt in Aliens (1986) escaping LV-426 before Hadley's Hope exploded as well:).
It was amazing and have watched it countless times now and it never get old. Only question I have. When Denny is listening to the record and they say this is 1 of 3 books. So does that mean it's not the whole book yet? Or hopefully a him at a trilogy? 😅 Man I hope. Currently re-watching ash vs the evil dead again. Such a great show.
