    Good video.
    However, I think you missed a really good opportunity during the 1st round of betting. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
    When you had the SB player fold and the BB player stay in and CALL, (s)he only had to add 2 ($2) more even though a 4 chip ($4) bet had been made, because (s)he had already supplied the big blind with 2 chips ($2).
    If the SB player had decided to stay in and CALL, (s)he would have had to put in 3 ($3) to stay in to match the 4 chip ($4) bet that had been made. This is only true on the first round of betting.

    Nice video. The only thing I noticed was that during your example at 19:08 comparing two full houses was technically correct but inaccurate. You mentioned that a player with three 10s and two 9s would beat a player with three 10s and two 8s. Of course, that example is impossible as there are not six 10s in the game. But, would three Js and two 7s beat three 10s and two 9s?

    • @MalfoyR
      @MalfoyR Před 4 lety

      Assume a board of TT987.
      it's possible for player 1 to have T9 and player 2 to have T8. So a full house tens over 9s would beat tens over 8s.

    • @Kevin-ib4gv
      @Kevin-ib4gv Před 4 lety

      No, he's correct in two people having 3 tens....players share the 5 cards on the board...so player #1 has one ten, player #2 has one ten, and the board has two tens showing. Since the board cards are shared, both players have 3 tens.

    In your hand ranking, 10 High card would actually be a 3 of a kind or 2 or a kind. You can't have 2 as a kicker without having two other smaller cards, unless you have 2 aces, which would be a 2 of a kind but you wouldn't count them as 1's

    What happens if you fold on a pre-flop round? Are you forced to pay the bet equal to current raise? Or, you're allowed to leave the game without consequence of backing the game? Second question: what will happen to the small blind player if he'll choose to fold his hand during pre-flop round? can he take back his bet? On the other hand, what if he wants to call and continue the game, is required to bet the equal amount of bets?

    • @dineshmanglani7387

      1st answer-you can just leave the hand, you dont have to pay anything.

      you would have two 8s and two 5s due to the board. So two pairs over one pair of Queens, player one wins.

    In the pre-flop round, you raised to $4. Shouldn't this mean that other players must match atleast $4?

      Same question. Do all bets need to be the same before moving on to the turns (Pre-flop, Flop, Turn, River)?

    why don't every player put same amount of money at the start of the game, instead of just two people putting blinds. And what is the purpose of small and big blinds? what effect would it make if both players put same amount as blind?

    One question. At 21:04, the pot was at $0.22. Now if a person calls with $0.10, how does the pot amount to $0.31? Shouldn't it be $0.32? Does that 1 cent go to the website hosting it or what? Am I missing something?
