Watching Daniel on poker stars for the last two weeks and seeing he has an active youtube account is extremely satisfying

Can't tell you what these playthroughs have meant to my own game. I used to fold so many pre-flop hands that I didn't think had value. I play more aggressively now that I know what to watch for and how to better read the board. Reaping the benefits! Thanks for taking the time to post these.
Getting better at poker is such a nuanced process.
they're in a tournament playing loose, and implied odds hands have more value deep stacked, and less short stacked. Reverse with big off suited hands. There are so many factors, be wary of copying the cards he plays unless you understand the circumstances. Your learning should come from gto charts, there is a huge difference based on position, cash or tournament, and stack depth.
@@ok-kk3ic I don't agree. The decisions are usually very decisive, it's just that beginners don't know what they're supposed to do. I'd say every decision can be calculated pretty easily if you had enough time to think about it.
@@ethosterros9430hell no 😢😅 lol, make profits in crypto just to lose it in poker haaha
hey daniel i just wanted to remind you that everything you do at the poker table conveys information
And what about being loosey-goosey, eating a sandwich?
U just wanted to remind him, huh? Lol.
Remind him. Haha.
What about the videos he uploads where he literally explains his entire thought process behind the hands lmao. He knows. The point is that his game, if he plays it well enough, is just not exploitable.
@@matt3997 Must be Phil Ivey in disguise
Daniel won more hands in a single tournament than I have in the last 12 months
I'm a new player..
I find his streams so helpful
I used his wisdom ...it works...
Donkyiel's advice has to be taken carefully, or almost not at all, for optimal results.
@@GiGi-tt8oo gigi where do you play bro? I get beatrunner runnner consistently.im good enough at maths to know the differrence between bad luck and
Highly improbable
@@thomasmonaghan2016 if you keep drawing dead by the river then why don’t you just shove the flop, it literally solves all your problems you “claim” to have. No ones calling without something with decent chance of hitting or something outright. Yes it’s a horrible way to play and loss a losing strategy but you’re whole problem involves not getting outdrawn so this is your only ovation.
People don't win hands they get cards. GG like all the others it's ultra rigged
i love how public you are with your play. this is very validating to watch 'the best', and see, hopefully, some of my play/decisions aligning with yours ! tysm, bravo always ! ty ty
"I'm going to do that against Phil Hellmuth and he is not going to understand it" LOL
“Honey, he checked the flop with pocket kings! Stupid online player!”
How did that work out
That really worked out for him; losing 3 times in a row LOL
The "premoan" was awesome. Really glad I stumbled upon your page, Daniel. And super appreciate your transparency and inclusiveness you present to everyone. Always liked you, but now I appreciate you. Best luck ahead.
Daniel, I just wanted to say thank you for all you do and these videos. I have learned so much from watching you play and watching your videos. You're so awesome dude! Peace.
Watching Daniel play and coaching at the same time actually learn a lot more then just reading books and watch video itself
Damn Dnegs your so much better now at poker thought processes. You still got that old school live feel with great poker knowledge to back it
Danielinski! My boy! Please supply more of this content, was a very nice watch. Hope you're having a good week!
Just enrolled in MasterClass to SPECIFICALLY watch your master class on poker. So far it’s been great, and I don’t regret it. Cheers!
Discovered these videos today and have already watched and enjoyed several.
Thanks, Daniel - you've been my favourite player for a long time and this only raises you higher in my estimations.
Thank you Daniel for this video. Over the last few years I have learnt a lot from watching your play and your teachings so, Thank You for that too.
I really enjoyed the 88 against A3 hand, love seeing ace rags get a good beating, nice hand.
Such a suck out tho lol 😂
Thank you for playing and explaining. I a still at 1-2 for about 2 years.
Doubt you see this Daniel but i loved this... This was very relaxing to watch and very educational to my poker development... Thank you and i hope you continue down this path rather than the other hyper explosive path LOL
I always love watching you play you crack me up, which is an added plus beside your excellent playing skills
Just discovered this channel, great content even for me freeroll player, love how Daniel is calm.
I learned you make more hands in one tournament than i make in 5.
Daniel
Thanks for the master class changed everything for me.
“You can t be all loosey goosey eating a sandwich (this time an apple) at the table” 😂
I came to comment this exact thing when I saw him eating food towards the end 😂😂
@@RezidueWithaZ yes haha😂
"Table" being the operative word here and I think I'm safe online :-)
Plus you can be all loosey goosey with an apple because there's less moving parts than a sandwich.
@@dnegspoker you should've trademarked that qoute. I hear it atleast once a day at poker.🤣
Thanks for the edited video rather than all the hands although I'd like to see a few hands you contemplated playing preflop and why yo folded them. Great video and a good warm up for the Online Borgata/AC Main Event this weekend. Cheers! ( I won three step up satellites to get into then event and look to run deep)
Great job Daniel love your work always keep up the positive attitude we love you out here👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️
I learned more in this one video than 10 poker tutorial vids on YT.
Daniel I love how you spread so much positivity 😭
He’s positive often but he’s also extremely negative sometimes....one of the worst poker celebrities for it
@@youretotallyrightbut463 hard to be positive all the time, the guy is human wtf
that's why I follow him
He saves it up for the internet,...he is an ass much of the time in person. Sorry Daniel, but you can make even the poker brat look like a monk with the way you have started behaving in the last 7 years,..still time to get it back under control but i think you are doubling down on your EGO All IN strategy.
He's Canadian, what can he do, eh?
Just in the 10th second of the video and already hit like coz I know you always deliver wisdom and quality content about poker.
Was watching your videos yesterday night. Manage to use your advise, and play like yourself & damn it done me wonders. I was always a good player, but sometimes I just used to make silly moves in different positions. With the correct play, manage to get ITM for 6/10 tournaments today, 1st place for 2 of them, and the rest at least top 20 in fields of 300 plus. Which is small, but I saw progress. Can’t wait to continue my journey in these tournaments :)
Good job ;)
Nice. Just what I was looking for.
Thank you Daniel, I've learned so much from you.
Can you cover the loosey goosey concept
That’s basically how he plays all the time
Its hard to explain for a FISH like you LOL
Loosey goosey, sandwich theory optimal.
beefy sausage optimal. My opponent is getting better cards than me 😪🤯
Not only is he helping everyone with videos like this but he’s making it harder for himself to play.
For a second I thought he was gonna say "Hey honey, this guy just min raised me on the flop into a $15,000 pot"
this was great more of these please 🖤♠♣♦
I am very happy to be watching this video. Thanks for sharing
Ty for these video's, im learning a lot from them. Have a great day!!!
I instinctually would make a lot of the same decisions without really understanding why, love the commentary and breaking down of the hands
He's articulated what you knew but didn't know you knew.
Absolutely, nada . 36 minutes I can't get back ! Thanks, Danny
JK
Always something to sharpen the hold'em knowledge through Daniel !
I'm a beginner and I learnt the general rules and ideas from your videos ❤...thanks
Watching the WSOP years ago on espn I always loved seeing Daniel on tv. I just found his channel and started to play online poker. Awesome information. Thank you!!!!
Watch the series on poker theory it’s 5 parts good stuff.
Dnegs talking about Gretzky vs McDavid is exactly what i needed to see today lol
I didn't learn "nothing". I learned that nobody out-eats Dnegs while playing online tournaments.
xd
I really enjoy watching you play poker and how you think about the game
Never change, you are bloody awsome mate..
Hey Daniel, Huge fan. Can you please provide more videos like this one? Gain so much insight watching this
I'm watching this, and I admit, I don't know much about the intricacies. This is great for me to learn here. Online seems so much different, can't see the others' faces. How do you quickly identify the other players' skill? How do you pinpoint the players you have to respect, and who you can fleece?
Awsome Daniel. Thnx very much for your lessons Youre the best
Thanks for posting more these days sir
Love how humble you are Daniel. Are you top 20% of tournament poker players? 😂 throw some respect on this man’s name. He’s my favorite and imo the best. The best doesn’t always win unfortunately! But the best is always in the green like Daniel, he does this for a living! 🐐
Oh shoot, you stream?! Damn, I need to catch one of those.
That 8 on the river was diiiiirty. Love it
You should show the hands you fold and your thinking behind folding. Thank you! Appreciate these!
I love this dude xD so loosey goosey and fun and still great information
I’ve been watching your MasterClass as well as reading your book Hold’em Wisdom. All I want is to keep learning. Just want to let you know that you are an absolute inspiration to me pursuing more knowledge in poker. Also, I’m excited to see you play against Hellmuth in heads up soon. ✌️
ahahahahahahaha
🐠
.
I'm really enjoying your videos and the arrogance and bluster that you do not manifest at the public tables. Seriously, it is refreshing.
Amazing thanks !
Большое спасибо!))
ЭТО СУПЕР!
Daniel I just came across this channel. I think it's so cool you play online with everyday people. One question, are you playing the same way while in a big money tournament? Also when I watch you play for real I don't know what you're thinking and watching this was great and helpful. Thank you!!
Good 👍as always I like the new school train of the thought on this hand
The river’d boat at 17:00 is classic Daniel haha
Nice touch you are thinking loud. That gives some information how a top pro thinks round the middle stage( bubble)
Hey Daniel ... Big fan
One question ... When you went for the showdown value on J 10 vs J 9 hand ... what went through your mind ?
I mean how did you decide that it's a good spot for showdown .... I tend to semi bluff on those kind of spots
Learned a lot from your games .... would like to learn more ... :)
I liked this format, if you could do it at least once a week, and I think would be cool if you pick one hand to analyze it deeply at the end, something that take 15min tops
I'm trying to do about one stream per week and then cut them down so you get the key hands in a shorter video
This is awesome. Can you post more content like this, in-game action? Been watching you since the “Kid Poker” early days.
These videos are helpful.
Daniel, is 3betting small better than shoving on the AQ hand? 25 blinds i always 3bet shove. Maybe with this size u get more value and can have bluffs? I think its harder to play like this.
Plays onnnnnnmme match vs polk and now hes a genious pff. Jk love the content and your genuine emotion!!! Keep em comin!!!
Ocho gracias el WSOP 🤣 cracked so hard
love these
Love his attitude!
The trip 8s on the river though omg lmao I Know the guy he was up against with that ace was PISSSEEEDDD LMAO
Well but he was behind at the beginning with 3 outs
He caught one of his three
Daniel caught one of his two
It’s not even a bad beat
I played in my first Wsop tournament and have wanted to meet Daniel my entire life. He was about 4 tables away from me on Friday and I was too scared to go say hi or ask for a picture lol. Was cool to play in the same tourney as him though
Yeah Dnegs love these kind of videos
Note to self, if I see Dnegs with a Canadian flag at my GG Poker table, fold and find a new table :P
hahaha
Yes, I was trying to figure out if everyone playing knows it's him?
Sweet play
I believe you are one of the greatest.
Great Vid!
Love Daniel...your awesome!
The key to a bluff is representing the winning particular cards in hand during preflop. Kind of like holding KQ and telling your opponent you have pocket 10's preflop. You've just created a seed of doubt, and a bunch of cards that they should or shouldn't be afraid of. It works if you have the image for it the first and only time you do it at a table 😜, winking at you Daniel. Never say your real hand still. It can be perceived as collusion.
J10 vs J9: "Such is life." 😂
You da real MVP Daniel.
Solid video.
Thanks for the tips, I'm looking forward to getting started with online jobs! :P
You started playing super agressive right at the cut off for the money and in the ladder stages. Is that good for some reason like because the blinds are getting really high?
How do these tournaments work? Are they playing with real money? Or is it representative of chips and there is a payout depending on where you placed?
Curious about the over call w the flopped set of 5s. As an intermediate player I would love some info. On your play there. I usually always 3 bet in that rare instance but I also struggle w balance in my game. Response please!!!
I lost a much smaller hand where I had paired tens vs Kings and went all in. Feels good to have a pro validate that as a solid move, even though it does suck, lol.
To be fair the initial raisers range is MUCH wider - 1010 is usually good there (or at worst a flip which you need to win to have a chance in these tournaments)
It looks like every hand is a good hand your starting out with. If I started out with those hands I would be doing pretty good also. I actually would love to see every hand played even the bad hands or times you lost the hand. This video just makes it look too easy and you keep getting some good hands 😆 😆
In the first hand where u had pocket kings, why after the flop did u bet so little? I’m trying to learn your strategy there
River gods! BTW if you entered 100 MTTs at 15% field cashes, how many would you normally cash?
Daniel. Great content. Do you practice your 'Poker face' when playing online?
Daniel “sticks it in” with pocket 10’s legendary
almost won a seat in Vegas from online poker. I like watching your videos and poker night in America
at 34:00 when you showed 99, I had the same 2 cards in a $15 tourney.
Hey Daniel, love the pic of Ungar in the background!!! What is it exactly
Это был лютый камбэк! Круто что у тебя все получилось)) хорош
Hey Daniel are the WSOP & WPT online poker apps a good place to play online poker?
JJ vs A-10 was dope
Nice to see if u play actual reality with your balance if its just won fair.
@8:00 - wondering what were other hands that could've given us value there, except for A high (which he luckily did have)? Or was it more to put in a blocker bet so he doesn't fire another barrel on the river?
Thanks Mr. Negreanu
