@@anne_6052 it’s impossible to rake with these guitars without breaking your hand. Therefore fcing any “hard” song in GH or CH is impossible.

Honestly besides whammy i think the biggest thing keeping this from being used for clone hero is the fact that the strum wouldnt be able to rake, plus the price when you can get a wii guitar and a raphnet adapter for much cheaper which is just considered the standard at the moment.
Hmmm... I wonder how hard it would be to loosen the strum. Before "tha varus" hit, I was planning on making a Clone Hero arcade cabinet and was looking for heavier duty guitars than what Red Octane normally put out.

you probably wont read this but would you do a top 5/10 switch rhythm games? cuz i dont really know that many good ones and i figure some people could use such a list too when theyre out buying games for their switch (assuming they also play rhythm games and such)
A little notes:
That GH guitar you're using is the smallest of all of guitar hero guitars. And the only one using those kind of buttons. The rest of the series used bigger ones which I think are more comparable with the Gitadora ones.
I think a more comparable guitar would be the GHWT or GH5 guitars which have a similar strat form. Also RockBand would apply on form factor and their guitars have bigger buttons than Gitadora.
Whammy isn't that necessary for playing GH, except if you want to milk more star power.
As far as I know, u can customize the strumming with switches like the xplorer.. Magnetic sensor for fast strumming is bad, idk why they use that tho

Hmm I wonder if the switch choice was for a sound response? You know like a nice confirming sound that you pressed the key?
Tactiles are meant to not have that sound
@@gatorz8610 From my experience Brown switches do have a slightly louder sound when bottomed out then Red's due to the stem contracting in the switch itself. Also the other switches that come with the product are clicky sounding as she said and showed in the video.

You can. You probably need to map the whammy bar or other buttons for the wailing.
@@APPROVEDDTXGaming actually GH controllers do have accelerometer. I play arcade dump on Xplorer and it works flawlessly if you take some time and research into setting it up.

if you want a good controller for guitar hero you'll probably end up spending the same amount. plus, this controller probably would work with clone hero. I may get one of these controllers to play both games with
You could easily spend $100 less. My WT PS2 guitar built by someone cost $190 shipped, 760 productions costs the same amount. They use Mech fret and strum switches, + use an arduino board with Sanjay's guitar configurator, both are usable on ps3/4/5 wii and PC.
So sad to see a top notch brand new guitar controller for another game while Guitar Hero lost support years ago

for Guitar Hero, it's really helpful when there are lots of "jack notes" (basing on VSRGs terminology, idk what the exact word is), which is more common than you think
For Guitadora, the game mechanic forces you to strum im every notes anyway so why isn't it necessary?

gitadora has judgement timing like perfect, great, good, ok, and miss
gitadora has judgment windows, i think stricter timing windows (i dont know the actual numbers this is just from anecdotes so dont quote me on that), and also no HOPOs so you have to strum and hit every note

@Mailroom Clerk the creator of guitar hero in ~2002 went to Japan and played the original guitar freaks, he went "i wanna bring this to the mainstream market in the us" and made guitar hero

Yep. Though I'm not sure if Guitar Freaks upgraded to 5 lanes before or after Guitar Hero came out. If it was after, then technically the two games are clones of each other.
@@Jono997 ye guitarfreaks switched to 5 frets in XG which is in like the late 2000s/early 2010s, but the core concept of a rhythm game emulating playing a guitar was originally conceived by guitarfreaks in 1998

I'm playing both game. I don't like GITADORA guitar but I don't see a reason to give hate on it. I just am not fond of the game except for the drum mode.
It makes me sad everyone avoids Guitarfreaks like the plague and Drummania is the only one that gets any credit. I’m a Guitarfreaks main and it’s my favorite game ever. The difficulty is so tight and feels so right, plus we get actual key sounds for guitar notes where Guitar Hero just stops the prerecorded guitar track. Guitarfreaks deserves more love. :c

@@pilotstar. i dont really hear it from other people (mostly cuz there are barely anyone talking about gitadora in english) but from my general arcade experience (and probably for the other 2) is that drummania is seen as the more fun and flashier rhythm game over guitarfreaks
add to the fact that drummania is wildly different from most other rhythm games and that guitarfreaks is often compared to guitar hero 99.99999% of the time, it unfortunately makes guitarfreaks quite less popular than drummania
