The perfect podcast. I cannot overstate how incredible the narration is. Tight, gripping and unemotional. PERFECT!
I remember hearing about this when it happened.
There was a documentary I viewed some years ago. It focused on a few of the parents sharing the excitement of their children going to Spain. As well as their talents!
Then learning what had happened to the plane.
It was heart-wrenching!
When we send our kids off to school, vacation etc.
We don't expect to never see them again!!
I can't begin to imagine the depth of pain these parents had to endure.
I think about this everytime I listen to these videos.
Especially with children going missing.
The not knowing would be a lifetime of torture.
I'm greatful my son is 27.
Although I still worry about him. It's part of being a mother/parent, you never stop worrying about your kids. 😊
Listening to this July 01, 2024 during my lunch break
Kaloyev never found the body of his daughter. He was never even allowed to take part in any search efforts. He didn't find the necklace. There is a new well documented russian book about this tragedy, and Kaloyev himself denies this in the text. He identifed her remains on police photos. This myth is so widespread that it somehow got into documentaries and feature fllms but it is a misunderstanding or possibly even a deliberate lie as if the tragedy wasn't already dramatic enough..
Kaloyev is a pathological liar. Who would believe anything coming out of his mouth at this point?
Lie or not, what isn't a lie is that his whole family was slaughtered by the negligience of Peter Nielsen so his anger was still understandable
I'm glad to hear they were rendered unconcious almost immediately so at least the kids weren't terrified.
Your voice is perfect
Oh this is so sad. I got really emotional. Those poor parents and loved ones. Horrific, to find bodies everywhere . I love his voice y'all crazy BTW.
❤love this show 😢😢😮
Just downloaded part 2 . I'll listen when I get to bed later. Cheers
What a horrible tragedy and so scary for those pilots. This could have been avoided if the instructions had not been given by sky guide. How could they not have decided that the controller giving “bad” instructions before not be given more education and situations to deal with before just sending him back to work. Those poor pilots though that’s so awful.

Plz, Russian subtitles 🙏🏻
I would love to translate!
Hour and 7 minute commercial
Haven't listened in a long time. Not a fan of this new voice filter added to the narrator. You can tell it's not his natural voice, it's very distracting. Had to lower the volume to minimize the added raspy/low effect.
It helps if you change the playback speed to 1.5X
