wont ever get anyone as devoted to nature as David Attenborough .
David peeking through the underbrush is too cute
It's like, the whole of Britain's Heritage behind there =D
i bet all the wild life now knows david attenborough. now everytime he goes to make a series the animals all go "oh look theres that attenborough bloke again. my dad said he messed up his dancing arena a few years back."
Such an elaborate courtship ritual. Birds are so fascinating!
That is the prettiest bird i've ever seen!! I really really would like to have that!!
I've done a lot of bird research but I've never come across this one before. Very unique bird
i love the bird's tail! so cute looking!!!!!!!
I always find birds and insects to be the most interesting of animals to watch on animal documentaries. They always have very strange rituals and appear very exotic.
My goodness me. This is brilliant.
the life this guy has been living is truly amazing. for someone to see and experience just some of what this guy has seen and done with his life would be priceless. but to have done and achieved all this and to share it with us. unbelievably amazing. much respect and ty dave. to have learned so much of the world around me from my desk. if i hit the lottery i want to see some of what this great explorer has seen first hand. lyre bird, orchids, insanely large fungi. have a chimp throw feces at me.
wow this is very beautiful!!!!
I hope one day they will be able to film all the birds of paradise:)
Awesome!
The tidy birds.. omg a stray leaf auuuggh
that bird is like who put these here? darn hooligans!
If you watch the Planet Earth II episode where they feature this bird, David says something I found kind of amusing, in a way... He just finishes talking about evolution and then says that this jungle is the Eden to the animals there. haha
The bird is like, "HOW DARE YOU MADE A MESS OF MY PERFECT STAGE?!!!! MUST CLEAN! MUST GET RID OF IT! MY STAGE MUST BE PERFECT!!!"
i want one as a pet!
holy fuck a pokemon!
@MissKattyWren He has four named after him - a plesiosaur, a fish an echidna and a species of pitcher plant
What on earth.... this is bizar.
OCD
It's got butterfly antennae drawn by a kindergarter on its butt.
it doesn't want to be fed...it wants to hunt!...and clean!
pretty! :) purple legs? that's the fashion! :)
How does he find this shit out, he must spend weeks observing them.
what a cool little creature..the brad pitt amoungst birds
this bird has a moustache at his back ..
You just summed up every religion ever.
this gave me bird fetish.
Someone should name a species "Attenborough"
hey david what if i put leaves on ur stage huh?
Goes to foreign country, piss's off the local wildlife by messing up there pad :P Sir. David Attenborough been my hero since I was like 7 years old and still carry on my fascination of the natural world but only in the wilderness of the UK. Would love to go around the world to see all the amazing wildlife alas its rather expensive :(
I’m the 45th comment
This the Work of Allah, the Best Creator!
Lol @tomjennings, didn't you know that God created evolution?
@aauro I'm surprised that you are so offended by my comment. If you think about it, God and religion are as much products of human evolution as hair or eye colour. God and religion are as superfluous for human survival as music and art. Yet, many people practice it and would attribute their survival to it. Evolution is real, of course it is, but human existence is more than the documentation of perceivable fact - if it weren't so I would be unable to experience wonder at this bird's behaviour.
Damn, why must every time we enjoy a proper scientific and educating video must people bring in the religious shit? Go elsewhere to preach! If we wanna hear it, we will be watching religious videos, not these.
Its nothing to do with god, allah or any other delusions you may have. Evolution. Start using the word more often and stop being arrogent enough to believe that this world was 'created' for your pleasure.
Sir Attenborough, im sorry for the idiots who fail to grasp the point of your programs.
