Omg idk how I didn't figure out to turn off the multi color animation myself. I usually have mine on Color Mix where it cycles through all the colours (the pink and red in red moon look too much like a cop car to me) but it'll be nice to freeze it on 1 color array. Dope

Thank you for the video. I found it to be useful. HIGH BEAMS can be used on auto mode. It's really simple, but by now, you've hopefully figured it out. It will stay on when it's pushed away from you at NIGHT. During the day, they will not hold. It's a smart car, so when it detects that high beams are needed, it will perform as such.
Yeah they will turn on when needed on auto. However I was just listing a way to keep them on no matter what. Plus its the only way (highbeam on) to get the triple beam look on your car. Like the animation when you start it up. Otherwise its just the single beam look.

For High Beam just push the stick away from you. Middle is off, forward is flash them, back is on.
8:45 I have a premium plus package, and I do not have the option to have the entire left bank (front) navigation??😇

Great video, the last tip, though. Yeah you don’t have to engage hold first; just keep your foot on the brake then turn the car off. You’ll feel the pedal depress on its own - as to indicate the parking brake application.

its basically a normal universal vent mout. (the one with the rubber 4 slit grip. you just have to push it in to the vent hard so it does not wiggle. My phone has never fell, as long as i push the mount in tight every time.

Good stuff - getting familiar with the mbux and theme setting is something I learned. Btw, my navi says 'road not mapped' and can't really function when i drive - sounds like either softward / hardware (antenna) issue which is a bummer given i bought it new 2 days ago... have you had any issue with navi?
I have not personally seen anything like that. I am in LA so a lot of the roads are mapped. I have received a few over the air updates to the map. maybe look to see if your map is up to date? Thanks for watching.

It's just the start up animation for the headlamps. You need the upgraded lights for it.
I'm trying to understand seat options. I saw you only have Seat Kinetics, but some other cars have "Lumbar" and "Side bolsters" also. Are these 2 for multicontour/performance seats?
I think the higher tier cars like the S class will have those on the menu. You can still change lumbar on the seat itself (no side bolsters) just not in the menu.

I can't get the ambient light trick to work on my 2022 eqb. As soon as I find the right color combo and disable animation, it resets to the default preset (ocean blue, purple sky and so on).
Unfortunately it's been patched out.
Turning your full beam from Auto to 'regular' disables many of the automatic features of the lights and ends up blinding oncoming traffic.

Can you always install ambient lighting or does it have to be put in from the manufacture
I have heard of people putting in their own lighting with kits, but its it chore. I would assume this car is no different to install your own.
Cockpits are pre-built in the factory and the already installed features (screen type, ambient lights etc.) cannot be changed. When you order a car without amb. lights, it's not possible to add this feature later due to the special shape and structure of the cockpit.
In addition, amb. lights needs software, cables, control unit etc (I work on Mercedes-Benz assebly line. I'm sorry for language mistakes.)
@@ShirazLOOOL you can definitely add ambient light aftermarket lol. Won’t be configurable through infotainment… but at least u can still get it
When you drive the A class do you have to engage and disengage the parking brake everytime you drive and park or when you change gears to Drive does the parking brake disengage automatically?
It normally disengages automatically. However it takes like a second when you shift to drive if its on.

No it just uses like 70% of the screen. So you have the mbux background on either side. Not horrible but not great. Hope that helped.
This „tips“ are like, if you press the start button, the car turns on.. Every „tip“ is logical..

Possible to preset the temperature with GLE 350 especially during winter? We can turn the car on/off remotely but no temperature control? Thanks
I think you would have to pre-set it to what you think you need before you turn off the car. Then, when you remote start it will heat or cool the car.

For that car you go to vehicle on the home menu and scroll to light settings and you should see ambient lighting
Also if you just don't see it in the settings your car may not have them. Never seen an e class without it but it may be possible.
I bought CLA 35 recently and I am not able to turn on the windshield washer. If it is in the left side to push the button, then it’s not working. Please advise

Not sure. It may work if you use the apple car play i would guess.
That final tip... I just press the button to turn the mf off and it engages the brake/ e brake. No need to give it the extra pressure to engage the HOLD feature

How did you get Navi full screen in your center console? (Where your Speedometer is)?
When you're in the menu choose navigation. It will have the map on the middle of the 2 gauges. Just scroll down to the bottom and it should say display full screen. And hit enter.
@@bubblepopinc5 I've got a 2020 GLE and I've tried that. I don't get the third Dot. I thought maybe you need to have a Dest. set or something. Asked the dealer and his exact words were "No Mercedes in the US does that". LOL Thanks for getting back so quickly!

Also if u have auto start stop on, and come to a stop, you can just open the door (car jumps into P and is already off) and lock it.

Car should ALWAYS automatically engage brake when engine gets switched off, my car seems to.

Hmm nothing that has to do with the mbux lighting and screens. But if you have drive tronic (self drive). And the press back when things pop on the screen they are universal.
Bonus tip. After you mute volume you can un mute it my just volume up. You dont have to press the mute botton again.
Quick question. I see that your gauge is hot & cold…why is that? I just recently purchased my Mercedes’ Benz & now I’m start to see the two different temps at the same time.
*starting
the temp is set for the left (driver) and right side (passenger). So can have your temps be what you want individually. However, you can press the "sync" button. and both sides will always be the same.

I have a 2021 cla and when I turn off multi colour animation when I was the right combo it reverts back to normal it does stay on the colour combo I want please help!!!
unfortunately, they patched it out. so now it reverts to the default. sorry.

Some cars need the "enhanced ambient lighting". So if you don't have ambient lights in the vents, than you only have the basic ambient lights.
I wanna ask why is my GLB keep popping out the word " System suspended " ? It usually never pop out. How can i avoid seeing it? Please advise. Thank you
I think you need to take it to mercedes and get a Xentry (mb diagnostics). I don’t think it will take too long to correct. Its just an error in the system. It sucks but should be an easy fix.

My navigation used to show on my screen and it disappear now i don’t know how to find it
You should be able to use the menu button on the left side of the steering wheel and scroll to navigation again.

Works with any Mercedes that has the “Hey Mercedes” feature.
How do u get gps on screen
in the menu scroll to navigation select it. it should give you options of compass 2d or 3d or full screen.
What year and model Mercedes do you have…? I have a 2019 E400 Coupe and most of my nav screens and such doesn’t appear anything like yours, especially the accent color section, I don’t think I have a multi-color and animation feature; unless I just haven’t found it… 🤷🏾♂️
Its a 2020 with a mbux. its the newer interface. (its the infotainment that has the "hey mercedes")

I have tried but it just flashes. Maybe because its the upgraded lights but it only stays on when you manually turn them on

I don't have a Navi in my 2021 35 amg is that optional because I didn't see it on their website
It's odd that an AMG would not have the Navi, but I do know it's not a standard feature.
You can purchase the navigation software for $600 I didn't have it standard on mine either but now I have it
