Kalindi Khal is a high-altitude pass at the height of 5980m in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand, India. Kalindi Pass connects Gangotri and Badrinath through a very challenging trek route, infested with many hidden crevasses.

Thanks a lot. The attention span of people is reducing drastically, so is the length of my videos. I still think i make longer videos than what people like to watch. Am happy to hear you wanted to watch more :) Auden's has been my all time fav trek. I lived in Pune for few years, but not anymore.

Great video.. you have beautifully captured the landscape.. have watched your Auden's col trek.. as you have done both which is more challenging kalindi khal or Auden's col?
Thank you so much! Kalindi Khal is more challenging because of the higher altitude, melting glaciers, and crevasses.
However Auden's was equally tough as we had added Mayali pass too on the route. And the amount of snow that year had made it really really difficult for us.

Must say with your injury, undertaking and summiting too must have been challenging.
I had a querie, after Vasuki taal how is the route?? Is it as tough as uptill from Nandanvan to Vasuki or more? I have been up to Vasuki taal so I know the route just want to understand the route ahead as I am planning to do Kalindi khal in near future.
If you can then please do share some snapshots of route ahead of Vasuki taal.

Yup, sheer will power. It was painful, every day. I spent good 15 mins every morning for dressing up my wounds before starting.

Good video with anice background score However the videos shot could have been better. Because they do not show the full hazards of the trek and whatever they show are in long focal lengths . Do take a go pro or a dslr on your next visit. The landscapes look very small though the area is absolutely enthralling. The porters can manage about a kg of extra weight.

Hi, I generally carry 8-10 kgs weight on my personal backpack. But on this trek I had carried only a daypack, had offloaded the rest to the porters.
