I’m in the process of repairing a loom and learned all this while doing it, so I wish I’d seen this video before I began! You have a good way of simplifying electrics, and a good way of explaining them. Some close-ups would be useful, although it would mean you would have to do some editing. The ratchet crimpers are brilliant, but there is a correct way to insert the pins into them so that one shoulder crimps the insulation, while the other shoulder crimps the copper wire. You also need to put the connector in the right way up so the tangs curl back in on themselves. I used a good few connectors in trial and error before I got it right. Well done on making a complex topic easier to understand 👍🏻
Thanks for the video! I have a question... I want to directly connect my twin headlights (on a KTM 640 Adv) to the battery, using 2 relays. Instead of using 4 (2+2) "negative" cables, is there a secure connection of these 4 into one so that to be connected alone somewhere on the chassis?
