Ghent - With a Visit to the Smallest Pub in Town

This walk through the Belgian town of Ghent highlights landmarks such as Gravensteen Castle, Saint Nicholas Church, Saint Bavo's Cathedral, and the Belfry tower. In the heart of town we will pass by a monument to Jan Frans Willems, the father of the Flemish movement. Along the way we will also stop by the Koremarkt and stroll the Graslei promenade for a view of Saint Michael's Bridge and the city's canal system. But first we will begin with having a beer at the smallest pub in town, t' Galgenhuis. There are many interesting things to do in Ghent, but I fit all of this into a short day trip.

I visited the amazing town of Ghent on a day trip from Brussels. Though I was only here for a short time, it was an amazing experience that has left me wanting to one day return.
