- This video shows how to replace the throttle position sensor. My rpm's were jumping up and down for no apparent reason. This was both while idling and while cruising at a constant speed on flat ground. My rpm's jumped from about 1500 to 3000 and back while cruising at about 60 mph. At first, I thought the automatic transmission was shifting gears, but it was the sensor which had some of the teeth broken on it's internal gears. I figured out that it was the sensor when my check engine light came on. You can get the check engine light code read at most auto part stores or buy a reader. I used a bluetooth reader that connects with my cell phone. I got the reader for under $10.
I replace mine and all the sudden the engine will not start anymore.....
I'm here for the NASA sound system
I just replaced my TPS. Now it doesn't want to start, and/or stalls out if I don't keep my foot on the gas. Did I do something wrong, or do I have to have codes/computer reset? Once the engine is warmed up (too many minutes for my liking) it seems to run better. HELP Please...
What size torkx???
Thank you
Good
