lots of coincidences, sacked a manager mid season, that season we won the CL and FA Cup finals, and as you say we were a huge underdog in the CL final. I think perhaps lightening might strike twice.....let's hope so. Need to be clinical and we will do it I believe.

@@joshrock1311 I can't say I was overly happy at the time he left to join Spurs and even worse Jukebox Durie as Spurs have always and always will be the team I want to beat above all others. Having said that time is a great healer and he did good service for us and we made 750k if memory serves me right. He's a Chelsea supporter and a passionate one at that. I don't mind players going to Spurs if they aren't good enough for us, of course I prefer them no to, but hey maybe Spurs were the best choice for him career wise most likely why he joined them. Understandable to me, not like he did a Sol Campbell. Jukebox is an entirely different matter altogether. Reminiscing about the past, I hope Sheffield Wednesday stay up. Bought* and yous* there's not going to be a video on how we bought it because that argument is washed out now, Roman bought the club in 2004/2005, you weren't saying we bought all the failures since then, only the successes, the club is run in a much different way now to how it was then, we abide by ffp every year so that would indicate that we operate within our means, I guess when Real, Barca, Inter etc etc win titles they've all been bought, because they spend hundreds of millions on players too

2 big reasons why ManCity winning a treble including PL & CL won't be as good as ManUtd's in 1999.
(1) FAcup especially back then was a lot better than LeagueCup and also the team's ManUtd faced that year you won't see a harder route for any FAcup winner.
(2) ManCity's champions league group was much easier than ManUtd's and they also never had no Mönchengladbach's in the knockout rounds (because it was a harder format the year ManUtd won the treble).
The biggest thing is no fans in stadiums.

I’m a Newcastle supporter here and I love my football and I’m pleased it’s two English clubs in the final and as Newcastle supporters we can only dream of having a team like City and Chelsea but as good as Chelsea are defensively I can see City winning a close game but regardless of who wins it should be a cracking game.
Why should it be in Turkey with the current covid19 situation I’m not saying play it at Wembley but surely somewhere in Europe could hold the game at a stadium where at least some fans could attend the game of a lifetime.

What's so unbelievable about it. This real madrid team were totally there for the taking, an ageing side not the team they were 3,4 years ago. Liverpool have been poor this year and they should have easily beaten them but for handing them 2 gifts in the first leg and missing host of chances in the 2nd leg.
It’s not just this game that’s unbelievable, for us Chelsea fans it’s unbelievable that 2/3 months ago we were 9th having sacked Lampard and thought we had no chance vs Athletico and now we re in the UCL and FA cup final. That’s what’s so unbelievable, to Chelsea fans at least

So when Lampard was replaced by someone who knows what he is doing ye were always going to improve, ye never should have been 9th in the first place. Once ye sign a top class centre half and maybe a striker I think ye will be winning the league very soon, maybe even next season. Definitely not unbelievable Chelsea are playing so well now
