      Its mad and why I've always had more respect for clubs like Man United, their fans were behind United, despite having a way worse season than spurs and poor performances as they tried to break Arsenal down. They weren't cheering for Arsenal to spite City. They wanted to win and beat whats in front of them, regardless of rivalry - Shows the difference in Spurs having a small club mentaliy compared to the other clubs around them when their identity/goals are based on stopping another clubs success rather than acheving their own.

      On paper yes, in reality the Villa and Liverpool game along with Spurs and city all connects as it affected 5 teams. As Everton and West Ham are safe they're most likely not playing for anything major as especially with West Ham, Moyes will be leaving.
      Arsenal needed Villa to lose against Liverpool to give Spurs some hope in beating City to qualify for the champions league. As Villa drew it now means Spurs have to win in order to stand a chance with champions league. A draw won't be enough but it will also complicate things with Arsenal due to the goal difference.

I do get what you're saying with no game being easy and that. Of course Arsenal still need to do their bit but today's game with City and Spurs not only affects them but Arsenal and Villa too.       That definition immediately discounts Spurs... Arsenal were irrelevant for almost 20 years...
      Whereas Liverpool and Chelsea had the European wars, the ghost goal, almost signing Gerrard, Slippy G, and more recently the Caicedo/Lavia saga...

      Yeah okay, Liverpool are Chelsea's rival, but my point is that Arsenal against Chelsea is a derby. They are next to each other geographically. If Arsenal win, the "Best London Club" award tips in their favour. If Liverpool win, it doesn't reflect badly on Chelsea...like at all.

    One thing people don’t mention is that a season is won/lost over 38 games. Beating to city doesn’t hand title to arsenal. This game should’ve been played months ago. If you wanted arsenal not to win title you do it in the games you play against them and they lost the other week.

    Here's a thing to think about. If Spurs and City draw, Arsenal who currently have a greater goal difference than City could win the league off that depending on final scorelines. Arsenals 5-0 win against Chelsea making it seem more likely that Chelsea gave them the title....

And I think the majority of Spurs fans are as well - they'd rather have a v good chance of winning the Europa League next season rather than being embarrassed in the CL, if it means that Arsenal do not win the Premier League.
