    Says Real Madrid didnt deserve to go through but completely disregards the first leg. Completely forgets how horrible Chelsea were. This is why there are 2 legs and you can’t just consider the last one

    Kante on last seasons form and Chelsea go through. Gave the ball away for Modric's pass for Rodrigo. Also involved in the mistake that gave away the ball for their 2nd. Worried about his decline as hes not been great for a while.
    Ultimately we were too poor in the first leg.
    Great effort though. They played well.

      @@MoejiiOsmanTV Rudiger was immense and made many interceptions and blocks.
      Kante literally gave the ball away for the first goal. Whilst it was a superb pass by Modric, doesnt happen without a careless pass. Plus both mistakes were in our defensive third.
      So yeah, he can get partial blame.

    Werner went off the team faded his work rate aswell as havertz was unreal pulisic and ziyech was bad subs for me

      I thought the same too. Werner was making class runs in behind, which was pushing the Madrid defence back and opened up the space for others. Havertz was also very effective in the air and at corners. I felt in that aspect Tuchel got it wrong.

      My issue is Tuchel was playing them on the wrong side. I don't want to question Tuchel but Ziyech is best on the right and Pulisic is best on the left but he played them on opposite sides and that was stifling the offense I feel.

    Madrid outplayed Chelsea in 1st leg, and scored TWO goals in return leg. How can you lot say they "didn't deserve to go through"? It's 2 legs, not 1. You don't show up prepared, you will get knocked out.

    Chelsea don't need to worry.. their manager is brilliant. The football he's got them playing is quality. Learned his lesson from the first leg and totally destroyed Real's midfield for 90 mins.. Tactics were spot on. Kroos and Modric were bossed until Modric's moment of genius. Doesn't help that God is clearly a Real fan.

      We were worse in the first leg than Madrid were today, they won the first leg as chelsea played shambolic, chelsea won today because they are world class. Didn’t go through in the end but clapped real in 90 minutes.

    This is the difference a world class striker makes. It's in these moments where you need a player to step up and Benzema stepped up in the end. This is what we were expecting from Lukaku but that didn't work out the way we wanted it too. Thomas Tuchel on the other hand got his tactics spot on-the attack and midfield did their job well and so did the defence (for the most part). 2 moments of lapse in cocentration especially for Benzema's goal cost us, but we need to take the same team and mentality in this last stretch of the season. We have to win the FA Cup otherwise he could be sacked, and he's one of the best managers we've had in a while!

    I’m sorry but we should have shut the bus after Werner goal. We literally had only 15 mins left. Werner shldnt have been subbed off, he was playing with confidence from the previous game. 1st Madrid goal Kante or RLC should have stopped play and fouled the Madrid midfielder. Pulisic was poor very poor. Ziyech should have passed when he was through instead of going for glory.
    Overall Chelsea played very very well. Very proud of Chelsea now we need to focus on the FA cup and win it. COYB💙💙

    It's that same old madrid magic there's a reason they have a unbeatable record in the competition 10 semi finals and 4 wins in the last 12 years is just unreal. There's always a mixture of luck as well as brilliance but I think alot is just pure experience and not panicking even when there playing poorly or being outclassed which they where for most of last night, there the only club on the plant that finds a way matter what.

    Liverpool Fan. For a long time Chelsea silenced Real Madrid fans at the Barnabeu, What a match!! The intensity, the hunger from both teams was absolutely amazing exactly like City Liverpool match. Chelsea lost the ticket at Stamford Bridge, a bitter pill to swallow but their brilliant performance must have earned them absolute forgiveness from their fans. A typical CL Final type of match. Unfortunately Chelsea defence suddenly lost concentration and got punished by Benzema who eventually killed their dream.

    I’m still proud of Chelsea’s ability to bounce back. If there is an advantage to win it is only luck on the part of Chelsea but if they lose they have to accept the fact and learn from mistakes while playing at home last week. Whatever it is Chelsea is still considered the strongest club today as it has always been a thorn in the flesh to all world clubs.

    concentration is and was the main factor that decided this tie.the deciding aspect of this tie was virnicus and benzema partnership.in the first leg tuchel got it wrong,christiansion against virniculis and second leg james against virniculis was good for 90% of game .a moment of no concentration and viniculis finds benzema yet again.this is what big games are decided on

    Proud of the lads last night. He never should’ve taken Werner off, he creates gaps and exploits people when they’re out of position. Pulisic and Kante were horrible last night. To be honest Kante is a legend of the game, but he’s declining rapidly, I’d be playing Gallagher there next season besides kovacic. Kovacic is our best midfielder, the guy is unreal.

    Mendy last game made a mistake for sure, that was not all that cost Chelsea. Lukaku had rwo glorious headers. A fully fit and confident Lukaku would have put those away, or a more potent striker

      Not really, they were counter attacking for most the game and Chelsea was the main aggressor. The subs changed the game but before that Chelsea were ripping them up. (Neutral don’t care who won no allegiance to either)

    Both teams merited a place in the semis. Madrid were the better side in London and Chelsea were the better side in Madrid. However, Madrid dug deep in the face of adversity, kept going and edged it when it mattered. Tuchel as good a manager as he is showed he can also be a sore loser by some of his post match comments. I'm sure he is better than that.

    Pulisic did nothing and missed big chances.
    Madrid are a very luck team and very effizient as well. If Chelsea was cleanical enough, this game would have still been won even after the goal by Benzema.
    But again this is football and every year the Champions league gives you the opportunity to win again and defeats are quickly forgotten.
