I’ve been making homemade bread since I was four years old, however I can’t cut it well. So sad. I got the sourdough starter going for the last few months and decided to buy a decent bread knife. Hopefully this will help me. Thank you for the video.
I actually turn a loaf of round artisan bread on that side to cut it. And a loaf of bread from a bread pan I turn upside down and I get very thin slices this way. I will add my knife skills are pretty good also.
This is amateurish. If you want perfect slices, freeze the loaf and cut it with a carpenters panel saw. You can achieve 5 mm slices and you have a usefull by-product of fine breadcrumbs. Put the frozen slices back in the freezer and use as required.
.... believe me i see and know People they didnt can do this by herself - no Joke. In a World were you can buy Pasta in a cooking Bag, like the one for Rice, everthing is possible and cocking and mayby to cut a bread is a mysterie too.......
omg. at last, in my 25th year, i can eat bread, without the help of anyone. THANK YOU SIR!!!
This has been of great help, revolutionary in fact.
LMAO
He makes it seem so simple! Just as if it was an everyday thing. You pro chef, you!

Well I actually looked up a bread slicing video because my bread/cake slices tend to be not nicely cut.
Best thing since sliced bread

I was using my knob! Amazing!
Damn, the last few years look like they've been pretty rough on Jamie
Could you please do a instructional video on breathing I found this one so helpful
Haha
Please do a follow up. How to spread butter on a slice of bread. I need help.
Thanks great and straight 2 the point. Why are there 15 minute videos on this
Too many creators with no concept of the viewer's experience.

Tremendous. Now switch on a light.
Now I understand where I was wrong. I was cutting bread horizontally instead of vertically.
thnx man i spent 6 hrs trying to cut bread.
What if you don't have a bread knife? Genuinely asking
yea me two
or too…even
This is a flat loaf, demo needed for stereotypical sandwich loaf.
I consider a straight blade to be at a disadvantage when bread and knife have the same size.. Not in this kitchen
I would have expected them using a bread without baking errors.
Can somebody upload a "How to pour and drink water" video? Thanks in advance.
You stopped just before the difficult part: where the bread is wider than the knife is long.
I have an electric meat slicer. I use it to cut my bread.
so do I but that just makes crumbs fly everywhere.
shit i wanted to know how to pinch a loaf
a video about "how to make a bread" would have been better
