Is it true that the maps are all still EPA compliant and therefore the engine stays on the lean side of the curve and not the power side? It’s an actual question….
I keep holding off on getting this because the online reviews are terrible. I keep hoping there will be some updates or improvements or I’ll have to go with a non HD option.
Thanks for the tutorial, worked well. A small diff on the 2023 CVO road glide but overall it worked.
All cells will not be able to be filled in without a dyno... Sounds like a challenge to me

Thanks for this content, James - really informative. Keen to know what the appropriate tune is for the ST models? Heard conflicting reports that they are considered stage two due to the torque(?) like cam HD has supposedly thrown in it? I've gone with the Stage 1 to be safe as the tuner Stage 2 calibration is for the Power cam. Strange that there is not much info on the ST cam.

I'd like to see you install one on a softail. there is literally no room to leave it plugged in and get the side cover on. mine is smashed in there and I have to locktite the screw so I don't lose another side panel. connectivity is intermittent and fairly unreliable. Unfortunately, its the only game in town. There also are not enough choices in the drop down menu for add ons. IT takes quite a lot of trial and error to do a smart tune and save it. You also have to do multiple smart tunes for weather variations. in the NE here on the east coast, I need to have a summer tune and a cold weather tune. It is a fair amount of work to get the most out of the bike with this tuner. Just my experience with this gen of HD tuners. the old one that was wired to the bike was easier to use.
I have a 2022 Low Rider ST. Mine fits in my side cover well and I have experienced no connectivity issues. All functions work as they should with my app and on my bike.

Question:2 When I am done with smart tuning, I must send the info to the cloud or use the data to reprogram?
I bought a used softail and in tech sheet it's written that it has SE stage 2 cam and lifters also street tuner, but there is no device out there, if you remove tuner device is the stage 2 map still in the bike, o it turns back to basic map? Thanks for the answers.

Will this unit work to autotune a stock 117 23 fxdls? I had an fp3 on my last bike and liked the engine gauges. But my bike still has all stock parts. I am wondering if it will actually autotune a stock map?

I bought used Road Glide 3. Pro Street tuner came with it. When I started pairing. Pairing failed. It says unpairing required. BCI is paired to a different mobile device.
Ignition on, then immidiately rock the throttle wide open and closed 5 times moderately quick. Green light on bci will flash quickly. Once it's done flashing quick, you can pair your phone.

Question #3: At what point does the BCI get disconnected from the Data port?
Bluetooth down load when you go to download to bike the start download button is not visible on the screen. How do you download?

Loaded a stage 1 base tune 2024 street glide. Went back in to do a smart tune and when clicking the "tune" tab, it gives an error stating "cannot load current calibration". Also, when not connected to the BCI, the app states firmware update available. Ive connected to the BCI and it states everything is up to date and provides no update feature. Ive Uninstalled and re-installed the app, re paired it to BCI and still nothin. The app really needs some work. Ive tried looking everywhere to troubleshoot my issue and there hasnt been one solution.

I have a simple stage 1 set up of SE Air Cleaner and Street Cannons for my MY2023 FLFBS. I keep getting "Error Code P2273 O2 Sensor Signal Rich - Sensor 2" after using this Tuner. No matter how many times I clear the code, and no matter how many times I do standard tune and also smart tune, the same code comes up after riding for about 30 mins. Is this a bug and will there be an updated map please? Appreciate all help. Thanks.

Question #4: I have done several recordings through the "See Data" section ( Not a Smart Tune) my system info shows that I am still recording. I have sent the data to my email but am I suppose to delete those recordings?
E-Yikes. While it's awesome that Harley Davidson is giving consumers this option, the procedures are so onerous, achievable yes, but onerous. I really don't see consumers scrambling to do this or use this product. If Harley full boat wants to get into the business of allowing consumers to custom tune their bikes, this process is going to need more automation and fewer steps. Enabling an "Auto Restart" in the process would go a long way towards simplifying these procedures for instance. This product is super cool. No question. I just think it's a stretch for consumers that aren't as IT savvy. If it can be streamlined, I think sales of this product will improve. It is cool though.
I would think "auto tune" would be a service that the dealership would provide for the consumer after engine changes or performance upgrades. And if the consumer wanted the hardware and the ability to do it themselves, great.
Seems very easy to me.

Does this keep the security light turned on all the time? I was able to load tunes fine but the red light is staying lit and it’s really annoying.

OK, HD. I installed a new Tuner MAN:11/29/22 to my 24 RG as per the instructional video. The Tuner doesn't flash green or flash at all. As of now I installed a wedge intake, but the tuner isn't powering up. What's the deal.

@@harleydavidson dealer found that there is no power at the DLC connector and the service computer will not communicate with the bike, it seems that there is a break in the wire or a bad solder connection to the can bus wire.

Bought this for my 2024 CVO RG, and I am able to get it plugged in, connected to app, choose standard and stage 1 base tune. Click through warnings, then it says turn off igintion and turn on, then click program. After that it acts like its going to program then it states "Error, Headlamp did not turn off, reflash process aborted" followed by "PROGRAMMING NOT ALLOWED", Reflash aborted, Check BCO, and ECM connection, IGNITION and RUN SWITCHES are ON and BATTERY is at FULL CHARGE, Please retry reflash ;Reason code 14"
I have made sure battery is full as indicated by green light on HD tender, turned off infotainment, turned off BT on infotainment, removed BT connection to infotainment from my phone, reconnected and confirmed connections on BCI and ECM. So what gives? I went to my HD dealer and they basically shrugged and said call the 800 number....so after trying the sames steps over and over and reading the entire online manual and watching this video I am stuck and not able to use this over priced dongle that is basically worthless to me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

GOOD NEWS. 2021-22 CARB Tunes now available. Harley Davidson Parts and Accessories Bulletin PAB 1144 (Rev A) dated 12-18-2023 announced that all the Stage 1 SE air cleaners are now CARB approved for 21-22 California models and the SE Pro Street Tuner now has Stage 1 tunes for 21-22 California models. Bluetooth Street Tuner tunes are available now. Non Bluetooth Street Tuner tunes available 1-1-2024

Dude they want the location because states have different laws regarding how a bike can be calibrated based on exhaust settings and smog ect.
In 2023, Istanbul East Chapter was the dealer where you sold the most motorcycles in the region. I think it would be a gesture for a brand like Harley Davidson to add Turkish in subtitle options in youtube videos. Especially in such important content. Thank you.
The app is faulty. the unit connects just fine and connects to the bike itself, does error retrieving calibration or cannot connect to cloud. everything is set correctly on phone. dont buy this product
I get the same error message, and so does my buddy. I can't find any troubleshooting info on this issue. It's super frustrating.
